Us Server And Euro Server

I am in Okla so stick with US as much as possible but when matches are few and far between I will check Euro as well.
Euro players seem to like to stand and snipe...with machine guns even. Not sure if the keyboards over there come with W,A,S,D keys bc no one really moves on any map.... If they do they go solo...
US players much more coordinated...for the most part. Lot of communication. Euro I almost never hear or see a broadcast in any way.
I think I will be unchecking Euro... I am a tactics person in everything I do....strategy and teamwork. Don't care about kills as much as I do having a 4 man team that cover each other and rolls through like a juggernaut if need be.

I prefer to play group queue in the evenings, cos you can't get away so easily without team play. You guys seem much happier to use VOIP too, which really helps team play. And credit where it's due, if someone uses VOIP and leads well, it's normally an American accent.

US-Aggressive push push type players.
EU-Less aggressive, tactical type players.
One common truth though, both populations have their equal share of terribads.

- European players are extremely timid. If you're in an assault mech and you announce that you're pushing a ridge or a hill, your teammates will stand motionless and watch you die 9 times out of 10. They don't give a single f***.
- European players don't communicate as much. There is really no excuse for this, because the year is 2016 and there are relatively few countries where people still can't communicate well in English. You've got British, Scottish, Irish, Scandinavian, Dutch and French people, who all speak English. Germans are coming along, as are the Spanish and the Swiss. The Italians and Russians... meh. They're not quite there. But despite the fact that most Europeans do speak English, nobody's saying anything.
- Europeans are just plain worse players. It's not just a matter of communication. The American players are head and shoulder above the Europeans. I don't know if it's a result of their culture as a whole or just American gaming culture, but it's night and day. I've had some PUG matches in prime NA time where my team was just as coordinated as a 12-man team. Completely professional. I have noticed that a lot of military veterans in the US play MWO, which is cool. That may be part of it, but it's certainly not the majority of American players.

EU server: Nobody (except the English) wants to speak english because all the countries hate each other...and the US.

I agree that Europeans communicate less. But I think you're severely over-optimistic about the level of English skills throughout Europe here. Basically it's the Nordics and the Dutch who really speak it well -- and even in the Nordic countries (where I live too) you have lots of people who're shy about using their English. Gamer guys are well above the general population, though.

Yes, most of us euros are learning the basics of the english language during school. Still a huge difference between your lingua franca and any second or third languages, unless you spent a long time among native speakers.

With regard to the Op, well, it did take the U.S. to win the last two wars over there. Better coordination, speed, tech, Patton, and whatnot...

Get your history right. The better thing was numbers, and that does not apply to MWO.

Otherwise I'll have to agree with the NA/EU differences - NA seems to have a higher skill level with tougher, more unforgiving matches while EU tends to have a more defensive play style.

Well the Oceanic server is just less....douchey which I appreciate alot. Less whingers having their hissy rage fits in all speak or wannabe heros who wanna ********** and do their own thing. Also, you get less steamrolls on Oceanic (atleast from my experience) with matches lasting longer. Just seems people on Oceanic just want to have a fun game which I prefer than some of the elitist bullcrap I come across on NA (EU nobody seems to say anything).

I have noticed this the most so far. Several games today Charlie moved as a unit to a point and then bam... Everyone seemed to ALWAYS take after the enemy scout...So I would look in the direction of where the main enemy group was coming. Twice I typed and announced on comms that there were 3-5 enemy mechs coming up the hill about 300m away. Since I didn't really have time to see what was up...I had assumed we were still together... So I fired the first shots and backed up...and as they came over the hill I was annihilated... The entire team was faced back towards our spawns waiting for the scout to pop up. It took a minute both times before I dropped.... and my lance and even my team didn't even turn around after I called out a dozen times.
I very rarely get frustrated but I got pissed about it since it was becoming so common on this server. I guess it is the old school sgt. 11B in me that came out. So I typed "nice work team....left the only guy being attacked behind".
Both of those games I got the only kill....and they were solo kills from start to finish. Luckily I legged the Dire Wolf on both matches (for some reason their legs look so moist and fresh and easy to tear off). The last one is where I decided to make this thread..... wanted to see if I am going crazy already...or if others see a pattern here.
I noticed that teams fail when they all route towards the lights that are scouting... instead of pushing on to where the REAL battle is going to take place. I drive a King Crab....and I am not going to chase down a light....ever. I'm going to go where it all is going to happen.... Euro server so far doesn't seem to stay tight....at all. It happens a lot on US too.... but Euro has been the worst beatings I have had so far in game.
