Finally broke 4K in CW with a small change in my drop deck. 4,356 damage with 18 kills against a 10 man CbR1 <-- seemed new to the game, so basically a pug drop

How many of you can break 4k during a pug CW? I would post a pic but I am ignorant at the moment at to how :(

I think a lot of people will start getting it more with the tonnage increases. It used to be much easier to get it with IS than clan, and thats still the case, but with the structure buffs on IS and being able to take 3 TBRs, the clans have an easier time.

Nicely done!

I'm not certain I've broken 4K (not at my computer) but if not I've definitely come close. It is definitely easier on a pug team to rack up those scores. I got a 20 kill game PUG vs PUG. Any time I've played with a unit things die too fast from coordinated fire.

I haven't played since the tonnage increase but I wonder if we'll see higher scores as a result? Bringing more firepower and having more armour to shoot through.

Pro tip to rack up damage. Blow off side torsos - it will credit you damage for destroying the arm too.

It's especially good to do against Hellbringers anyway since the meta build everyone brings carries everything but the kitchen sink on the left side.

Haven't reached 4K yet. Highest was 3,379 damage.

There are players that have hit 5K. The new goal is 6K

Its just so much easier to do now than it ever has been before due to structure quirks and extra tonnage that you have to eat through to kill mechs. Combine a aggressive play style and some **** teammates, someone is going to hit 6k.

Since it is mostly IS mechs that got structure buffs, I wonder if we'll see Clan players hitting these numbers more like Taragoto's example. Especially since you can take 3x TBR now.

Speaking of structure, I took an Atlas to CW for the first time and got 1934 damage and 7 kills as my first drop. I might consider taking 2x Atlas, a Black Jack (that tanks like an atlas) and a locust 1v... Lots of structure for the clanners to eat up!

You should see clans hitting these numbers more so than IS. You and a buddy can jump into a private lobby and have him farm your atlas for over 1300 dmg before he kills it. Take at the BJ-1X for example which is popular in CW drop decks, you have deal the same amount of dmg to kill it as you would a heavy mech.

IS structure = more damage for clan.......... which means more LP and C-bills for clan as well.

Or steam seals against that Sexecutioner with GOOD pilot are bad :P

Only way to get that 4k dmg is by having terribad team and enemy team, that Gas Guzzlers picture is perfect example.

When I look at that pic all I can think of is did anyone on the other team use the R key at all, I mean if I seen that ragdoll pop up in my target info...... well lets just say it looks like grandmas fresh baked cookies and I would have got me some.

Super high damage games in CW only result from the perfect storm of: You + 11 ineffective Pugs vs 12 ineffective Pugs (or ineffective group). It boils down to basically the other 23 people in the game attempting to shoot each other but failing miserably while you get ignored and just farm up that sweet sweet damage, while on a cold map so you do not run out of time before you do all that damage.

There are 20 mechs left alive. The only possible conclusion is that Clan mechs are OP and IS mechs are utterly unplayable, therefore all Clan mechs should be nerfed into the ground, based on the irrefutable evidence of Clan pugs beating IS pugs 48 to 28. I'm telling you guys, this happens all the time (the Clan pugs beating IS pugs thing). Trust me. I'm definitely not just pulling BS out of my *** to prove how OP IS Clan mechs are.

This is my best, during 240 Clan vs 250 IS Tonnage days. Totally screwed up on my 2nd mech (Ebon Jag), accidently moved into the open and got lrm'ed to death, only doing ~150 on that mech. I was on 3x Gauss +2CLPL+CERML build (1xTimber, 2xEbon) and an Arctic Cheetah.
