I don't normally post this kind of stuff, but since the buff to c-bill earnings I finally broke 500K in a PUG match Posted Image Keep in mind this is with an ® variant with Premium. But still. No small feat
It wasn't just the earnings... This was by far the closest, most exhilarating match I've ever played. I was recording my matches that day too, and I was choked when I saw I forgot to turn the recorder on for this one!!

Skirmish - Caustic. I breached the caldera first somehow at he same time the Marauder did. He didn't even see me in his Marauder, looking the other way. I made his LT pay the price with 2 volleys of four AC5's and 2 large lasers. It started as your normal nascar - peek fest, but we decided to hold D5, and spread out over it. I ate 2 laser+gauss alphas early from a Timberwolf which opened my CT, so I played it safe and it payed off. The Timby put himself in a bad position for that second alpha so I called him and he got focused down and died early.
Later in the match I was tearing components off left right and center with my AC5's. Shout out to Target Info Gathering module. At 3v3, I hit a fresh enemy Locus moving full speed square in the back at 450m and took it out. It eventually came down to my Mauler, with a crit CT, red and orange armor all over, and the enemy Warhawk with 2 ERLL and a yellow CT.
My last ally, the Hellbringer on our side with %22 somehow managed to destroy the Warhawks gauss rifle before going down. I had 7 rounds left of my 7 tons of AC5 ammo but luckily I always carry backup weapons. It was a careful dance around the edges and center of the caldera. The first engagement I had the upper hand with his slow burning lasers against my AC5's. But I had buck fever so bad I couldn't even hit his CT!!! Finally we broke around cover at the same time at 120m and lumbered towards each other. I twisted off his ERLL, but by the time I swung back I had ran past him! I bet that Warhawk wished he had lower arm actuators. I did, obviously, so at full twist and full arm reach I was just able to put full burns and finish it.
Big shout out to Adv. Seimic Sensor.
That **** is so OP. It definitely won that match

Try that Mauler with 4 Uac5's. You don't need anything else but 13 tons of ammo.

The only other mechs I could get to consistently put up 400k+ was the Hellslinger and Dire Prime. Warhawk was close in the running as well.

Want to earn big money with ease? Play the streakcrow (preferably the (I) Variant).
A whole lot of damage spread over the enemy and you are sure to destroy some compoments before he bites the dust. And with the amount of damage, you also get the most damage done award.

Its a cheesy build but it made me a lot of money.... and you can still do fine with it even if you are drunk or extremely tired.

Sad thing is most of the playerbase doesn't remember playing before seismic wall hack and before UAVs...

Fast mechs could flank effectively granted this was before every heavy moved 80 kph. Light mechs could use terrain and cover to sneak behind enemies instead of being given away by a 0 ton module.

Granted hit reg was garbage but TTK was much higher, alphas were much lower, and 8v8 made each individuals contribution count for much much more.

Ah well..

I managed over 900,000 one match in solo que. It was all thanks to MM. All my bad players died and all theirs were left. I got to solo the last 6. I've never come close to that again.

My highest damage solo game was, surprisingly, in my founder atlas 6 months ago or so, 1037 damage or something. std325, 2 LL, 2 ML, 2 UAC-5, 2 SRM-4 (I think) until it got usurped by an 1100 something damage game in the HBK-IIC A of all things.

I can't recall any 500k c-bill games, but if 400k is for a good game of mine, then it must be landing somewhere in that ballpark for the truly phenomenal games. I never really look at how much money I make per match. So long as it begins with a number greater than 1, I go "hm, ok."

grats OP, sometimes the stars align.
