So I downloaded the Steam Version of MWO, but for some reason it didn't start. "Whatever," I said to myself, "I'll just go with the regular game". I mainly just wanted the steam overlay. Well, there was a problem. I tried logging into the game, but now when I'm loading in the mech bay it loads for about 5-10 seconds and then says, "Unknown failure". I've ran the fixer, and I've restarted my PC, but nothing has worked.
Any help?

Haven't heard of this one, but I do know that some recent games had issues with 32 bit Vista + the steam system.
That a possibility?
If not, a lot of guys in my unit were crashing randomly with either client until they put MWo back on 32 bit from 64 bit.

Nope, that's not a possibility. Windows 10 here.

Can't offer any help, but I had the same problem this evening. I had the same problem a couple weeks ago when the server was down. Maybe there was just a little hiccup this evening. Are you able to play now?

Nope.
I uninstalled, and then reinstalled with the steam version(it downloads a HELL of a lot faster), and still the same problem.
