It seems to occassionally reset itself to an earlier time then back to the correct score - have gone back to Tier 5 a few times for a minute or two :)

A: Common Core math. Someone at PGI couldn't figure out that computers are capable of adding large number together without having to break them down into tiny bits and adding 30 steps to the calculation process.

I wish I was at tier 3 I would find matches faster and not have to deal with the hardcore players in pug games.

You do realize that Common Core is designed in such a way as to mentally prepare kids for more advanced math, like algebra?

Have you tried doing algebraic equations with the Common Core system? It's really not helping, if anything its making mathematics at higher levels far more daunting to most children.

Letting kids use calculators starting at 3rd and 4th grade isn't helping much either.

you might have dropped a tier. I notice some matches my tier level at end of match either goes up if I did awesome, stays the same if I do my normal level of play but the team just sucked and lost, or goes down from bad match. You can keep track when your mech gets blown up on the tally screen.

I've done algebra and calculus. Common Core teaches the same techniques used in those types of math.

While I think it's silly to teach these techniques using problems better solved by memorizing multiplication tables and such, I applaud the attempt despite finding the methodology lacking.

When somebody finally explained common core math to me properly, I realised that it's almost exactly the same as how I do arithmetic in my head. It's just awkward and confusing to do it on paper, works better mentally.
