The Scylla, My Favorite Clan Assault Mech

3 Energy Hardpoints super high, including one above the cockpit, and an equally high Ballistic.
3xERLL + Gauss?
The articulated arms pack Missiles, LRM20s stock, which are great for indirect fire support, but also could easily pack SRMs for anti Light duty and brawling. Especially as they would be the most sensible spot for hardpoint inflation.
The hitbox geometry? Massive arms covering a proportionally small torso area, with the arms packing easily sacrificed weapons, mean that soaking damage should be a snap.
Also? 64 kph top speed, Clan XL durability, and full JJs for mobility, limited jump sniping, etc.
Lastly? It has near full armor, stock, and packs 17 DHS, so it easily has the flexibility. It lacks the MASC of the EXE, and the raw firepower of the DWF, but could conceivably be better than either, or the Kodiak or MadCat mkII.
So yeah...call me a fanboy!

Edit: Looking at the 2 and 3 variants on Sarna ( the ones with the HAGs ) I can't decide if something called a Hyper-Assault Gauss rifle would be good in MWO ?
The descriptions seems to make it into an unholy three way hybrid between a Gauss rifle, an LBX AC and a Rotary AC o_O

That being said, I understand why you used the MWO standard laser lens but who's to say you can't have that lens at the end of a forward jutting mount ? ( We could say it's to move the ErLL housing and cooling fins away from the cockpit )

Its an effin pitty we never will see it ingame soon because it is 10 years in future and got 2 variants with Weapons and tech not implemented in MWO.

2 things... strictly down to personal choice, mind you BUT
1) It's a mech, not a Unicorn
2) 4 ton laser that honking huge just looked stupid IMO.

Timeline and Tech will advance. We may get it someday, we may not.

It's basically a Gauss with the MWO Clan AC Firing mechanic, aka burst fire. Only real advantages I could think of is low heat, and probably won't have the charge mechanic

Metal Storm. At least, that is how I would expect a HAG to function. Being a burst weapon, I don't suspect it would have a need to have a charge mechanic. Click, and stand in awe as up to 40 individual tiny gauss slugs stream out of you like a swarm of angry bees from a nest.
