To me the waist looks too narrow, the shoulders look hunched and (this might not go down too well) the PPCs look too long - I just dont like it.
Perhaps I'll like it more when I take mine out for a spin tomorrow
PPCs are supposed to be long-barreled weapons, with a few notable exceptions until the advent of the Snub-Nosed PPC.
That being said, my rankings for the camos are thus...
Tied for 1st: Davion and Steiner
2nd: Liao
3rd: Marik
4th: Rasalhague
5th: Kurita
Kurita is my 3rd favorite House after Davion and Steiner, and that's Steiner before Katherine fubar'd it all up mind you, but the paint job that was chosen for Kurita just doesn't fit at all I think. Something that would have looked more like Samurai armor would have been much better overall.
Is the Kurita camo even based on a real house unit like the Davion and Steiner ones? Because if it is they should have gone for one of the Sword of Light regiments instead.

Invert the Kurita scheme with red base and a white Dragon, I've done that in my mind, and it looks really good.

They look pretty great.
Not hugely into the Buzz Lightyear one, but it still looks good on the WHM. If I had a nit to pick, I'm not in love with the big bronze helmet on the FRR, but it is what it is. Just looks a little busy for my tastes. But even then, it still looks good.
Can't wait to steiner up my Hammers.

QFT. Black also works particularly well, Alan. I've done this with Maulers, Marauders, Grasshoppers, and Black Knights and gotten good results each time.
Also, you can use the Davion scheme and change the colors to red and white to get a passable Sword of Light set up; Kurita Red with a White stripe.

I believe so. Not Sure why they can't be removed after the skins are "finalized", but I admit, I have never tried to make a skin, either.

Nope, looks like its just for looks. You don't use visual markers or anything like that for UV mapping, and by that I mean you don't see the UV map in the finished product. The UV map just dictates how the texture sits on the model.

Very much so Lauren! The Warhammer is looking awesome But I have a terrible secret to confess. While the Liao camo is my personal favourite out of the faction set, my top favourite Warhammer skin isn't a faction one.
It's a little more...spidery <.< >.>

Personal favourite right there. If I had to pick a second though, sorry Bishop but it's the Davion pattern
I've got to say the Warhammer is looking like pure eye candy overall. MWO's track record on mech aesthetics isn't the smoothest, but it looks like the modelling team have really nailed the bullseye on this one
That Liao faction camo looks great on the king crab to. Its the only faction camo I use at the moment even. The others look great to but just havnt used any yet.
Id say Kurita is my second favourite faction but I use Liao hanging cockpit item for some of my "cavalry" mechs to.

What? You don't want your mech to have a finish like a bowling ball?
