Maybe us southern houses should just have days for designated dance partners;
Mondays are liao vs Marik, Davion vs kurita
Wednesday is Marik vs kurita, Davion vs liao...

something like this would be much better honestly.

It allows us to have live training for new players, help practice, keep newer players entertained, etc.

So why don't the loyalist units with public TS servers get together and have whatever reps, war council, etc. you have (clans included), have a powwow about it and start doing what PGI won't and help guide the attack paths, etc. in order to help get a more active CW, at least until Phase 3.

Then we'll do a complete "reset" on everything and see what Phase 3 allows us to do. I've given up on PGI being able to help coordinate all this stuff. They don't understand how to build a community in the first place. We can do some self-policing, start helping improve interest in CW, and help get new players involved without rolling into a bunch of stomps because they don't know how the system works.

Also, it helps prevent 3 hours of ghost drops which causes LOTS of players to lose complete interest in CW as that's what they think CW is all about.

I will see if I can get some Davion units like hhod to consider it... would like to know what liao and kuritan loyalists think of this arrangement... an opportunity to mix up opponents but on a known schedule so that we know where to look for good fights.

well we could get FRR, Steiner, and Clans in on it as well. Lets face it, the reality is the way PGI has implemented CW has left too much open area and too little organization to effectively find games, help patrol actual borders against rogue merc units stirring up trouble, etc.

So let's start setting up some community policing, cooperation, and actually build a community.

Interesting concept but 1 day at a time and always switching is a drag.... a week maybe or 3-4 days at a time are better.
Most players hate having to go somewhere else to get stuff done or read up on stuff...
The more you ask the less they will do.
The simpler it is the masses will follow.
Bread and games.

well i don't like the idea of quick rotations on a daily basis, too much coordination to achieve. It takes 2-3 days to disperse info most times and get people moving in one direction

The battle cycles need to slow down to one front change ever 1-3 days. This game really needs a weekly cycle with planets meaning something. 3 times a day? Too much fluidity. My complaint since Phase 2 went into effect.

I won't disagree that ceasefire 3 times a day can suck depending on when they happen...

As for those saying it needs 3 days planning and whatnot, the whole point is that we don't have the population to support cw 24/7 so just have a set rotation of certain nights you know you'll be attacking/defending a certain border. If enough factions get on board you'll always know where the action will be on certain days.

More hot drops, more opportunities to coordinate unit drops, teach newbies, etc...

Less boring dry drops.

Planets mean nothing right now, other than on a sentimental level until phase 3 so just these are essentially weekly sparring matches.

I don't care about units coordinating further to specifically face off, go for it. This is about taking Wednesday Night Warfare one step further so that we have 2-3 nights a week that should yield good population on specific fronts so we can log in and have a reasonable chance of getting opponents.

The principle is sound, in Liao for example we know Wednesday is always a good day for CW due to Davions 'wednesday night warfare' - a similar exercise in all houses would be a great way to get the community involved

yes but, it's logistics. It simply takes time to disperse info to everyone.

It will take time... once...

Say "Davions are going to show up in force on Wednesday nights on liao border... keep it up for a couple weeks and everyone will get the memo.

Okay that one is easy, we need to line them up for other factions but Marik and Kurita could do Wednesday and then we switch partners on monday or saturday...

Geez this is starting to sound like "swinger warriors: Online"

we also have to see when factiosn have most players available and such as well. It's a lot more coordination than it sounds without any in-gamer tools to coordinate, but it's not impossible either. I'd say if we can't get a "set schedule" we go with "best available" and talk about when and where we commonly have players on in CW.

Doubt this weekend will do much good since many will be doing Whammy leaderboards

I trust the OP to be currently valid and will convey the current stances of House Marik to our HQ.

So I see Launam and Uhuru are being attacked by Marik and Steiner teams respectively. Did we open another front or this is just a skirmish?

From what we can tell, mercenaries who've clumped into our house, have committed acts of aggression against the Lyran commonwealth.

Yes it is mercs but it does raise an important question the war council needs to address within 24 hours. We have a lot of mercs right now. Liao is not much of a threat right now. Telling the mercs to just go fight clans isn't going to cut it. The clans are finished as it is. In fact the FRR has cordoned them off.

This means Steiner no longer has the clans to fight. Already we are seek f them attack kurita worlds. It seems to me there was a discussion about trading fronts with davion. Alternating between kurita and Liao. Instead why not just leave Liao as a shared front and davion and Marik opens their respective nothern fronts. No ackqars rotation of fronts and no flooding any one faction with attacks allowing for good fights to happen.

Lowtax and a few other merrc units are here just to try and do what they can to disrupt and "ruin" Marik from the inside out. That's the exact words stated by lowtax to me in a few different games over the past couple of weeks.

It looks like we almost took our 9th planet from Liao. Any word from the war council? FRR is one planet from having no way to attack any clan anymore. They are either going to push south or jump ship to a faction with active borders. Steiner is getting bored and attacking us and Kurota. Kurita is too busy watching anime to know what's going on.

Would be nice to have some idea what we are supposed to be doing down here.
