It's more of a personal way to keep track of builds since Smurfy is slow as hell once you've got 200 builds in there. I'm currently only showing dual UAC/5 builds since it's got decent quirks for ballistics, and UAC/5's in particular. Feels like a crime not to run dual UAC/5 in some fashion on it.
It's also for a bit of feedback. Note: Armor distributions are default. Not bothering to change them here. In-game it'd be different.
Build 1:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b2c881759a39500
Pros: Engine is >300. Cooling isn't bad. Ammo is adequate. Makes use of all tons and slots.
Cons: SRM-2's are a waste of tonnage here. While they are almost pinpoint now, they're not going to be used enough to help in battle. Even just upping them to SRM-4's would help.
Build 2:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ecdea35976e00af
Pros: Engine is >300. Cooling isn't bad. Makes use of all tons and slots.
Cons: Ammo is a little skimpy now. 1.5 tons for two SRM-4s and 5 tons for two UAC/5's. I personally like more UAC ammo, but It's not a tried-and-tested build. Not sure if that'd be enough.
Build 3:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...106e719c4b0f2a3
Pros: Simplified. Less buttons and ranges to worry about. Cooling still fine. Now has longer-range capability to back up the UACs.
Cons: Alpha isn't that great. I mean, it's really bad IMO. Engine is also skirting edges of acceptability. I really don't like going less than 300. Bare minimum, IMO.
Build 4:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ef00f416b151495
Pros: Better on paper in almost all ways. >300 engine, High sustained DPS, high(er) alpha, and still uses all assets effectively.
Cons: No lasers. I mean, the ON1-V only has 2 lasers slots anyways, but it feels wrong to not have any lasers as backup. Also, holy ammo explosions batman. The CT gets drawn from first, so it's not a big concern. But still.
