Sign ups for Season 7 are open, the rules and website have been updated and PGI have been nice enough to offer prizes again for division winners! The exact breakdown of prize amounts for each division winner will be announced in the coming weeks. The sign up period will be open for the next four weeks as usual which gives time for the news to spread around the community and for teams to get organised.

We are aware that some of you still haven't received your prize mech from Season 6, there were 191 individual winners and only one PGI staff member was available to work through that list until recently so you will get your prize but you have to be patient. Bombadil has kindly offered to help speed this process up though so you should have your prize before Season 7 starts. We are proposing to PGI that Season 7 prizes will be done in Mech Credits (MC) which should make the whole process faster at the end of season.

The sign up process has been made easier this season by the addition of unit profile pages. As well as being an easy way for shoutcasters, viewers or potential recruits to find out more about your team, the team profile page is also where leaders can edit their roster and once that is done you will be able to sign up for the coming season with the click of a button rather than posting to a forum thread, which was the method we have relied on since the start of MRBC League.

The sign up procedure for unit leaders in a nutshell is:
  • Read the rules
  • Update your team roster on your unit profile page, which can be found by clicking 'My Team' in the Team Menu section on the left of the screen.
  • Press Signup button and select a region

New teams that have not competed before first need to create a user account on mrbcleague.com and submit a ticket to us requesting that a profile be created for your team. Once that is done the assigned team leader will be able to edit their team information, add more team leaders, update their roster and sign up for the league.

Thank you to all the teams that helped with the testing for the new rules set for Season 7, and thanks to everyone who keeps coming back to play MRBC League, good luck and we hope you enjoy the new season!

Doyle, Frost and the MRBC Team.

Most likely end of february. Will announce officially when we are able to. For AP-region it should work well with Battle for Midway

Cheers Mr P, yeah thought they would likely lead on from another. Thanks for the update.

Our guys have been grouping up well the last few weeks, getting into the competitive spirit in the lead up to midway, so keen to get our first team into the MRBC :)

I'll be happy to field another team for MRBC.. just want to be clear that it's not going to clash with season 2 of Midway as most of my players can commit to only 1 event at a time...

It should go fine. It depends a little on number of signups for Midway. But if like week 1 MRBC clashes with last week Midway we can delay the AP-region for 1 week. There is anyway 2 weeks at the end of MRBC-season for matches unable to be played for variuous reasons to be played which would be a good way of making that work.
