Hey guys!

Last week I experimented a bit with some full energy weapon builds and found this awesome loadout:

Banshee BNC-3M
3x large Pulse Laser
5x Medium Laser
Engine: STD350

After dying a lot because of shutting down in very unfortunate situations I got the knack of it and now it is really fun to play. I wanted to share the experiences I made and built a little tutorial around that.

Have fun with it!

Do you have any additional advise on playstyle for laser vomit? I would also be interested in which weight class you prefer when doing so.

Why don't you use the standard engine
that is delivered with it?
Or get a bigger one.
For faster heat lowering.
I bought one Banshee too today.
If you only use 2 LPL, 4 ML and 1 MPL with every light weight stuff the Banshee is quite ok while unskilled.

I used every light weight stuff because of speed.
When I mastered it, I'd drop that...maybe.
My HBK-4P runs at 92kph,
that's why I prefer to trade dps for speed.
In PUG I always need to get fast from point to point.

The general playstyle would be:
- don't brawl
(or at least don't be the center of the action)
- don't be the first in a firefight
- always torso twist
- if you want more LPL style you need XL engines
(with skilled/module range you can do some funny stuff)
Honestly I bought the Zoom Module for it.
Because a 19" 4:3 monitor is crap for longer ranges...
Also your feet can get lighter...
seems the Banshee doesn't get legged too often.

The Banshee S makes a good deadside lazor vomit.

It's great to see more people enjoying the Banshees, they are my favorite assault because I like to have maneuverability and speed (relatively) along with devastating firepower and massive armor.

The Wubanshee LPL variants are many depending on how you want to play. The 350STD is the slowest I would ever go, 400XL is just crazy fast in a 95 ton mech. Of course always get the CoolDown 5 modules for both the LPL and MPLs, I also use advanced zoom though the "best" players don't usually (they're better shots than I am without it lol). Remember though you only have a 402m effective range with the LPLs and you feel like you should have more when you zoom

Here is the most Wub 4x LPL, 4x MPL, 380XL, 69.7kph according to Smurfy's but I seem to remember going 72ish

Here is a 400XL 4x LPL, 4x SML build I tried out a couple of times (they work surprisingly well when you do get in close toward the end of the match, 75kph woohoo though Smurfy's is only saying 73...

This was the fast laser boat I used to run 400XL, 4x LPL, 2x MPL, 2x ML

Generally I keep left and right LPL groups on Mouse 1 and 2, Mouse 3 is for all the MPLs, Mouse 4 for silly hot alpha strike
I don't have videos of older matches where I ran these a lot with tons of kills and damage but here's two

3 Kills 506 Damage with the 350STD

2 Kills 560 Damage with the 400XL SML build
