Have been running them non-stop for the past few days; I have not noticed any change.

Did a game in each of mine, slightly more survivable, but still slightly squishy.

They seem as squishy as ever.

I don't know. Just ran a round in my HBK-IIC-C and wrecked face. I took a lot of fire and didn't get the random insta-death that seems to happen and I didn't drop a torso. Further testing will tell. The HBK IIC has become my "fun-to-drive" mech so I am glad that it will hopefully be more survivable.

can't say it it helps much...part of it is I spend most time facing front, the hitbox change is to the side... when I do twist fully seems to help.

The change on the pitch angle though has been very noticeable and hugely appreciated.

I lose my arms more often, I suppose. Does not help much when I am typically killed from the front. Also, when twisting, it helps little, as the arms get vaporized almost instantly under any serious fire, and the side torsos are gigantic enough that they follow shortly afterward. Its mobility is, at best, unremarkable for a medium, which does not lend itself to getting out of the way of incoming fire, either.

Still, I consider them solid mechs. Then again, I have always considered the Nova to be a solid mech, and I always hear people slamming it.

do you actually armor your arms? I notice, that even on "shield mechs" a lot of people leave the arms naked...which defeats the purpose of the shield. Ming you, I had stripped my arms before this, but that's because up til now I think I lost an arm...twice, lol?

*shrugs* They probably will need mild ST structure buffs, but it does seem to help some. Didn't expect it to fix all the woes, sadly.

When the arms are gone it only transfer half the damage somewhere else (or it has in the past, or I was lied to)

still block MORE damage when the arm is there, ya dig?

And when the arm is there it covers more area than the armpit ghost. HEnce why armor on one's shield is good.

Yep, always. I would not want my shields to have the consistency of pool noodles, lol.
