Hey,

Can i add quirks and module's up ?

Like this:
Large laser is 1000M range.
Quirk is +20% energy range.
Module is +12% LL range.

together its ?
-1000M + 32% ?
-1000M + 20% + 12% ?
-1000M + 12% + 20% ?
-They dont stack at all ?
-Or stack like 20% + 12% = 22,4% = 1000M + 22,4% ?

How does this work ?
I like to know before wasting GXP.

math is not your strength i guess...
try this:

1000m + ((20%+12%)*(1000m/100))= 1320m

I just dont know the formula.......
Every game works different with stuff like that.

But rather than help somebody with a simple qeustion you just had to come in like a useless jerk... thanks for the help m8 :-)

If you dont want to help maybe just shut up and post nothing at all ?

I can't remember exactly how they work but i think they are added then applied over the basic number.

Quick example i'm quite sure Mechs Radar range used to be around 800-850.

If you add Range module and B.A.P. (25% extra range from each one) you can lock up things at 1200-1300+ meters.

Know the issue after playing games like EVE and some others with similar issues when it comes to multiple bonus adding.

I believe quirks and modules are additive, not multiplicative.

-1000M + (20% + 12%) ? = 1320m
-1000M + 20% + 12% ? = 1344m
-1000M + 12% + 20% ? = 1344m
-1000M + (20% * 12%) = 1224m
-1000M + (1000M * 20%) + (1000M * 12%) = 1320m

His problem isn't with math, so much as explaining it. He wants to know if the percentage buffs are additive or multiplicative.

It's likely additive, because multiplicative can get broken very fast.

You're the one who isn't strong at math if you don't realize why OP would ask such a question.

It's a legitimate question, albeit phrased incorrectly. He's asking if the percentages add up or multiply.

Basically, he's asking if it's

A. 1000m + 1000m * (12% + 20%) = 1000m +1000m* (32%) = 1320m

or

B. 1000m * 112% * 120% = 1120m * 120% = 1344m

It's A. You add up the percentages and multiply by that.
