I know that feeling, I'm out for this event as well. The silver lining is we may win some camo anyway.

The Warhammer even isn't the first time they have done this type of event either that centers around a certain group of people. So, now all the people that do play this game, and don't have a Warhammer are left out. Keep the challenges coming, lets just try to come up with ones that everyone across the board can be apart of.
With that said, now if I see a Hammer on the field, it will be the first on my list to kill.. Have fun all!

Most events are tiered, meaning you don't need to complete the entire event to get something for free. Which is a nice move to cater to the more casual player base, such as yourself, so you can still participate and get something, even if you can't finish the entire event.

"This Event is comprised of Leaderboard components for each individual 'Mech variant from our Warhammer Collections, a cumulative Social Goal for all Warhammer pilots, and finally a cumulative Personal Challenge reward component that all players are eligible for!"

"If you don't own a Warhammer 'Mech that qualifies for the Leaderboard event you'll still have plenty of opportunity to earn some rewards in the cumulative Personal Challenge component."

I second this as well. Weekends screw with me too. Add three more days on the back side after starting on Thursday @ GMT - 8, and the time period in which to play would be downright perfect!
Unfortunately, given their track record of the last few events, this is unlikely to happen. I don't think PGI could care enough to make events never less than 7 days long.

Most are only good for a quick game of kick the can! excluding only certain exceptional mechwarriors who can use them to their full potential.

Since the Warhammergeddon I started with the launch of the Warhammer and Polar expanse map, LRM boats have been burning down Wahammers full time all the time. With up to half of all mech in the drops being hammers the personal challenge section (open to all) of this three part event looks to be the most easily attainable.
personally I hope to achieve a 3 (hammer) KillMostDamageDone ratio and complete the first three targets in 7 drops or less.
I would love to see a final tally showing how many Warhammers were killed compared to how many and what types of mech the hammers destroy over course of this event !
The House Marik guys in CW are salivating over the changes in their drop decks the Warhammer makes and don't seem to feel left out of this competition.
Rather they seem to be using this leaderboard to hone their skills and master their Mech's while grabbing free stuff, before returning to their regularly scheduled dismemberment of House Laio.
That last statement is in no way a reflection of official FWLM policy or opinion! even if the FWLM had such a silly thing as an Official Unified Policy position! spreading rumors of such a OUP which does not exist may be regarded as being seditious or treasonous please check your local planetary laws before discussing.

Mr. D V,
Let us know what mech/ build you are using. The personal challenge can be done in seven matches, depending on skill and optimized mech builds. The community can help you.
