I've read several of the clan books, the names of which escape me, but it was a trilogy dealing with a guy from clan falcon rising to blood name status. Anyway, I was wondering, are there any good battetech books dealing with mercenaries? Most of them seem to deal with the Clans.

Main Event and D.R.T. (Dead Right There) were also pretty good, telling the story of the Black Thorns mercenary unit.

Close Quarters, Hearts of Chaos, Black Dragon, All about Camacho's Caballeros. Author Victor Milan

I enjoyed Double Blind by Loren L. Coleman. About the merc company Avanti's Angels.

Highlander Gambit and Impetus of War. Books about the Northwind Highlanders. Impetus was kinda meh.

Starlord by Donald G.Phillips, is about a group of Knights of the Inner Sphere posing as a merc unit. It's merc-y

Wolf Pack and Wolves on the Border by Robert N. Charrette are about Wolf's Dragoons.
