Which is another reason why I like the Flea. Due to its tonnage, the Flea is less likely to succumb to the meta. (Simply because there's not enough available tonnage.)

Lasers are the meta right now....So if it doesn't have lasers and has no room for anything big ballistic wise it wont just not be meta, it wont be very good at all.


But i also petitioned for the Urbie i cant really dog anyone who wants the Flea.

I have never done Large-anything on my Locusts. That's too easy. I've done an ERPPC, but...that's an ERPPC.

Really, we don't need any 'Mechs at all. We need equipment to be worked over and game play to get more nuanced.

I used to have an MPL, but I switched it out for an MLas. I don't quite remember why.

I stand corrected, my Locust doesn't carry 2000 rounds of MG ammo, it carries 6000 rounds of MG ammo.

PGI needs mechs for revenue, the Flea is unlikely to generate revenue and maybe not even enough to cover its development cost..

He was also against the Urbanmech FOREVER remember? Then suddenly we got a pre-order because it became a huge community joke/meme and thus we got the Urbie 'tweaked' for use in MWO. I mean heck, the Flea doesn't even NEED the insane engine cap the Urbie did.

Just cause you don't want it doesn't mean others don't. As you can see this thread has varying degrees of want/dont want JUST LIKE THE URBANMECH DID.

Probably the devs are fixing the maps so that the light mechs don't get stuck in the wall as often before the Flea comes in and lodge itself everywhere. I want the Flea to come out so badly XD

I don't understand where the 'the flea is super fast' thing came from. I think everybody's confusing it with the Fire Moth which breaks the engine limitations going something like 200+

It literally goes crazy slow for a light. However, I'm sure that would be changed in MWO to compensate with a higher engine cap.

But don't get me wrong, I'm a proponent for it.

On what basis do you think it won't generate revenue? I sure as hell didn't see a lot of vocal demand for Grasshoppers, Panthers, Wolfhounds, Mist Lynxes, or even Maulers.

Most of the 'Mechs in R1 and R2, not to mention Wave 2, have been unadulterated garbage, so don't even try the "bad Mech is bad" spiel.
