So, if I recall correctly this was a bug that was introduced when Urbie dropped.
Armlock off: mouse settings correctly apply, can make my "head" turn faster than mech, with crosshairs having to play "catch up" (left to right)
Armlock on: torso turn/twist rate is crippled, mouse DPI settings etc have little effect, "mouse sensitivity" has some effect.
Anyway, I forget which way was considered "best" as far as the mouse sensitivity setting was concerned(either min or max setting was the norm) but at this juncture I am unable to get my mouse DPI and the game to jive like I want, or like I was able to before.
Note: I haven't really played since Dec. and I did use a name change to jive this account with other games I play. So my in game settings got wiped- however, I can;t think of anything off the top of my head that would create this issue, and it feels just like that Urbie bug we had before.
Just want to see if anyone else is having this. Also, is it min or max on mouse sensitivity scale? My DPI is adjustable on the fly in my mouse software. (Roccat Kone XTD) and I know I had it either at the min or max based on forum consensus from some time ago.

Nobody?
I ran repair tool and it found zero anything to fix.
I spectated a few players tonight, and as far as I can tell, the players i spectated weren;t having this mega sluggish twist rate stuff, last match I watched the last moments of a TBR, running with arm lock, crosshairs moving along quite nicely like I remember from... well from last month when I last played on a daily basis.
I have been running a new BJ with PPC's, and another new BJ with some lasers if it makes any diff. Working on basics yet. Maybe I should go try a mech with lower arm actuators and see if it is specific to the BJ or something. All I know is it is ruining my fun when I can;t toggle my arm lock to synch my close range lasers when I need to brawl(I unlock for long range) because it completely destroys the torso movment when I lock the arms.
Really, this is 100% like that bug we had when urbie dropped. Not sure if the name change wiped somthing out of my client besides normal setting stuff....

Your best bet is to try the patch feedback forums and send an e-mail to support@mwomercs.com

I posted there, that place is like a ghost town, but I made a thread.
i played more tonight.
I asked in all chat about it. I got the typical "it was the skill tree nerfs" but I explained the arm lock situation and i got some "that ain't right" and some "that's how it is supposed to work, when you arm lock the twist speed goes down"
I played some BJ matches, then jumped in a Mauler. My twist rates were EXACTLY THE SAME FOR BOTH CHASSIS. Both performed exactly the same as far as the amount of time needed to "catch up" to my mouse when arm lock was off, and how the rate was greatly reduced when arm lock was on. One mehc is 45 tons, the other 90. Same twist speeds, same craphammer'd rate when arm lock got turned on.
So, intended? Should arm lock affect the twist rate on mechs with no lower arm actuators? Is my BJ supposed to twist as slow as a Mauler(or vic a versa) Some players think so apprently in game, some think it's fubar.
And when i say arm lock messes up my twist rate, I mean I can up my mouse DPI on the fly, and I have to pick it up off the mouse pad to twist all the way to one side. When arm lock is off, my pilot's head just wips over and the mech plays catch up.

Here I found the bug I was talking about, IMO, this is what is happening to me right now.
http://mwomercs.com/...t-fix-incoming/
edit:Also, I see the skill tree stuff was in dec. I was still playing for that patch, my Marauders were released! So, this is new as of some patch after new years.
edit 2: kk, I looked over the patch notes, I see we didn;t have an early Jan patch, and I played a little at Chirstmas time so I was playing for the Dec 15 patch.
None of what I have happening right now, was happening during those times. So:
Either something in the Jan 19 patch messed this up.
Something in my name change messed this up.
This is 100% not a skill tree change or other change from any time in Dec related issue, as I was haveing ZERO issues with this at that time. I did not play for the first half of Jan(after new year) so if there was some hot fix I may have missed that. that narrows it down to the Jan 19 patch or my name change.
PGI: is/was there something in the files that gets wiped during a name change that would affect this?
