Still, it's true. If you can coordinate, communicate, focus fire and above all, play aggressively you can do some serious damage, and even sometimes beat, the Big, Bad Comp Units.
Sadly, those are 4 things the majority of the playerbase seem singularly incapable of doing, lol.
Honestly it's against 12-stacks that I've had the best luck coordinating PUG team efforts. "Well we're up against a 12-stack, and we're f***ed if we don't try some shenanigans...so here's my plan." Base-type defense on a Skirmish in Mining Collective, PUGs went something like 12 to 3. Base defense on Assault on Viridian Bog with similar results.
It's mostly about channelling that "**** it, we're screwed" energy into something positive meanwhile capitalizing on the 12-stack's opposite emotion ("this one is in the bag, so we can get a little lazy").

A Nova and a Black Knight (125 tons) dropping a Warhammer, Stalker and a King Crab (255 tons) is hardly ****. But if you still disagree, feel free to meet me in a private lobby. I'll put that up on my channel as well. I'll be at work from 7pm until 5am, but we can do it sometime tomorrow afternoon after I get out from school.

Seeing Twinky try to play lights is amusing. He once came into an Alpine match with a Huginn in my very first match after PSR was implemented and said he was streaming, telling us not to suck. He then proceeded to solo out on his own and encounter a Raven 4X and a SDR-5K. I tried to come to his rescue, and took out the 4X in short order, but he in his Raven got out-played by a Spider 5K...whom I also then destroyed. It was a weird match, to say the least:

People are just tired of running into the competitive teams and getting wasted by them. It's a natural reaction; a game ceases to be fun when the enemy starts with a stupidly large advantage in coordination and probably mechs. This is why CW is a wasteland - nobody is interested in getting their face smashed repeatedly by 12-mans - and why even the group queue has problems if you're just trying to play a pick-up game with a friend or two.

yeah, I've seen Twinky run the gamut. Let's just say I don't feel any ice in the pit of my stomach when he is on the other team in PUGlandia. .
