From at least 10 matches Today I believe the Xl engine is no more when it comes to dragons would you agree?
From the side torso hit boxes being made bigger it is simply a death sentence to run Xl engines in a dragon now.
It been taking some getting used to but 290 - 300 small engines is the way to go.
there was an image of the hit boxes on this old tread for those wondering what they are now.

I run my dragons with STD 300 usually, sometimes dropping in a 285 if I want more weapons. Ive never liked xls in my dragons. The only one I really use now is the Flame, which due to the torso AC20 can't mount an xl anyways.

Guessing you would like them ac20 quirks back what used to be on the flame?

Even with the hitbox change, I still take almost all of my damage to the center torso. So I still run an XL 340. It's definitely still worth it.
