Hey mech bros this is basically my ON1 build. weapons and ammo are right might have more or less HS. and of course armor at this point maxes out my tonnage. This build has been good to me heat efficiency is around 1.23%. Looking for other ON1 pilots for their input. What do you guys run? is my build good or Crap? how could i improve it? and suggestion or idea is appreciated thanks mech bros.
o and keep killing the dam clanners. Sneaky pieces of scrap metal.

I wouldn't run the Orion with a 300XL. 350 or larger? Sure. 300, no.
You could go for a 300 standard, endo steel, ferro armor (legs at 49, head 16, rest maxed), +3 double sinks, 2xLL, and a UAC5 with 2 tons ammo (1 in the head, other in leg). Should keep most of the feel of your original build. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e7ac5fccb7a459c (The right torso heat sinks are placed there to try to absorb critical hits for your UAC.)
EDIT: As a side note, once Marauders hit for c-bills I expect a lot of marginal Orion builds to make their way onto them. Marauders have a similar layout and better hitboxes.

The problem with the orions is the low arm weapon mounts. Its why mine are collecting dust. They are otherwise great mechs

Wait... why don't you have any bloody armor?

Well it IS an ON1-K, so that's a downside.
Do this instead. A single PPC isn't worth having and laser vomit is king.

Honestly, you'd have better tactical flexibility by going with 15-30lrms.

He probably left it out because he doesn't know there's a max armor function in the tools. He left the tonnage aside for it.

ON1-K I like that one.
As for thoughts on your build, I personally dislike large lasers. They are too high heat for their damage, you will get wrecked in a brawl. Which is why you have the Lbx, an I respect that, but for me, I'd not take that build. Even my own dual PPC variant I put in has some srm spam an flamers to assist in the brawling, but then I brawl, like, all the time.
