TTK is clearly thro'd. So many games end with an average spread of 3hundo-4hundo these days, even in solo queue. Clearly something is up.

Yeah, if a good team gets 1 kill per person, the damage is usally 300 per person, because thats how much damage it takes to drill through torsos and kill somebody. Think about how much armor is on your mech. 1 point of armor is removed by 1 point of damage, so to strip a front loaded heavy mechs front ct usually you'll need something like 70 damage on that component.

If you think that you not being able to do 1000 damage a match is because TTK is to low, you're an idiot.

Do you even read, bro? Cause if you had just an inkling of understanding, you would have realized that I am not complaining about the Timberwolf, but the current state of the game PGI had created, where unnerfed Timbie-A is now considered normal.

So next time, stop you kneejerk douchebaggery and THINK before you type.

The Timber A left torso is really not that big of a deal. It makes an already easy to hit side torso bigger. I could see some use for it with the negative quirks removed, but its meh overall.

In my opinion, they need the un-nerf. Or, if they remained nerfed, they need to be unlocked. For cripe's sake, you can't keep nerfing Clans through the floor while buffing the IS; you get an inversion that way!

Which is why I am also advocating IS quirk nerfs. The power bar should be lowered across the board.

i dont really get why they are un-nerfing premier clan mechs rather than buffing the underperformers. pgi logic is illogical.

Timberwolf will still be nerfed compared to old ones because of changes to Clan heatsinks.

Except for the part where Russ specifically stated all clan under performers are getting a stronger round of buffs and they will be exploring new types of quirks in the form of ammo and jj based quirks.

You know that 4 hour town hall everyone has been talking about?

....yeah.

When JJ's get unlocked from the S pods, then I will consider it "Unnerfed", until then, nothing has really changed.

Same deal with Kitfox, MistLynx, Summoner, Nova.
When JJ's and equipment gets unlocked, then things get interesting.

Just look how much better the ADDER got after simply unlocking the CT flamer.

Think about Executioner being able to pull 12 tons of equipment out and replace it with DHS or more weaponry.
Or Warhawk being able to use its Left Torso, even if for ammo storage, unlocking fixed DHS would free up 7 TONS.
Or Summoner with 5 more tons to play with.

You do realize how badly the BNKs murder TBRs right?

This buff will not change that either.

I seen way to many posts of people complaining about armor quirks and about how long it takes to kill "so and so". I think power creep will be coming back sooner or later. There are way to many cod players around here.

It used to be that Timberwolf-A was this unimaginably strong beast that had to be nerfed before it reached live servers, and then nerfed again. Now it seems to PGI that, Timbie-A is completely fine to stay in unnerfed form. Isn't it a clear indication that the power bar had shifted even higher? I personally do not like even shorter TTK in this game and wishes to tone down the already strong mechs so there won't have too much power difference between them and the underdog.

Remove CONVERGENCE and your wish will come true.

Sheesh. I've been saying this since June of 2012.

When will people listen?

Not to put a stick in your argument, because I do advocate unlocked equipment on the GladBag, but I run a Warhawk C 2Lpl (1 in ct) with 3 er mediums in the right arm and a gauss in the left. This build runs fairly cool because of those heatsinks, even when I lose the gauss via damage or ammo consumption I still have potent weapons and now a dead side. I know these advantages don't account for everyone elses builds....just saying.

The day the GladBag gets unlocked equipment...there will be a reckoning...and my Executioner will bathe in the blood of my enemies anew.

There's no way I can vacation away from these balance posts right?

I'm willing to reevaluate my position as soon as the patch is live.

Right now, I need to sacrifice my Mist Lynxes to Mech Cthulhu or Mech Jesus... whichever arrives first.

Just remember, the Direwolf-S's head omnipod still has a nerf, while the Direwolf-W's head omnipod does not.

However, re-reading it just made me realize something. I missed the "I wish" at the bottom of Duke's post, so it would appear that it's just a player-made wishlist instead of official words from Russ himself. Darn. :\
