With more or less standard hardpoint inflation, the Kodiak-3 realistically should have 2B per side torso. The stock loadout is a pair of LBX-20s and 20-class autocannons are usually inflated to 2B each.

is there seriously any reason to use a direwolf when the kodiak has fully unlocked equipment?

is the direwolf going to get quirks to make up for it? or just become anemic?

The pricing of this pack is pretty funny...when you combine the collectors + hero + reinforcements you get an end price of $70 for 6 Kodiak variants (2 get money booster).

For reference, a normal pack of Battlemechs (e.g. IS packs, Origins IIC) for $80 gives you 3-4 variants for 4 entirely different chassis, for a total of 12-16 variants (4 of which are money boosters).

Buying up to the hero pack for now. With the CDN dollar so low im not gonna be spending too much until things bounce back, and im sure they will.

The difference is its pretty damn hard for the Kodiak to end up with worse hitboxes than the Direwolf.

It would feel nice if PGI finally gave us some of the fancy-pantsy toys that came along with it...

The Kodiak-3 is from 3068, so that gives us some decent wiggle room...

Im just sad that you cant barf on people with 8 medium lasers at once because of freaking ghost heat....They are all mounted in the arms too, that would make it a great in-fighter.
