I'm curious as to why it appears that some mechs have Faction Camo patterns available for purchase, but others do not. For example, I was able to acquire a Steiner camo pattern for the Resistance pack mechs and for the Warhammer, but that same pattern isn't available for a Shadowhawk or a Thunderbolt.

Am I doing something wrong? Are the patterns simply unavailable for some mechs? If they're unavailable, is there some thread that explains when the faction patterns might be available for more mechs?

I'm still new, so please forgive my question if it's been asked to death.

The faction camos started coming out long after these other mechs came out. It takes time to make a new pattern for a mech and they've been focused mostly on new mechs as far as art is concerned. Eventually they'll get around to adding the faction patterns to the older mechs.

Clan Wave 2 introduced the concept of faction patterns. It took a little bit for them to go back and add the patterns to the Wave 1 mechs, but they did get around to it. Of course it helps there's only 4 faction patterns for Clans while there's 6 for Inner Sphere.

No ETA yet, but it will happen. We're also waiting for Clan Wave 1 and 2 Invasion variants to get camo support like the Wave 3 Invasion variants have. (Likewise the Resistance 1 special variants don't have camo support yet while the Resistance 2 special variants do.)

Camo support has been getting less and less uniform as new 'mechs come out.

We're getting decals soon though, right?
