[Wild Kadabra]

Greetings Mechwarriors! Lately I have been running stock 3025 games with a few friends in private matches and been having a great time. I realize this is not a timeframe or game mode that everybody likes, but some of us nostalgic warriors really enjoy it.

This is a post for anybody who is interested in running this type of games in a private match, let me know or add me to your Friend list (Wild Kadabra) so that i may invite more 3025rs for some good nostalgic fun!

Can't seem to paste the link, but "Stock Mech Monday" down the in the "Community Run Events" forum.

Yes but correct me if im wrong, stock mech mondays runs any stock mech, we are looking for 3025 only!

Will you allow for proxy's? for instance a Warhammer 6R that's retooled to be a 6K? [this is mostly removal of the MG's and ammo, and addition of heatsinks]

Or are you forcing pure stock? Can armor be adjusted and spread properly, or are we fighting with stock values? Ect.

This is the unfortenate problem with the game currently and trying to do these game modes, you have no way to enforce what a players has other than the honor system.

Proxy mechs could be allowed as long as they obey an existing variant in the time period, but everything most be stock otherwise. You are right about there being no way to enforce this, so this is mostly something for ppl who really want to do this and enjoy this type of gameplay. For now we must rely on Scout's Honor hopefully PGI one day helps give us more options, but i dont see why someone who doesnt wanna play this type of game would bother to come then.

should consider simplifying - instead of stock you can build what you want but 3025 equipment only

that means NO:

ferro
DHS
MASC
Pulse
ER
LBX
UAC
gauss
streaks
artemis/TAG/NARC
ECM
AMS

and especially NO CLANS


actually that might make for a fun competitive league...

the idea is creating a small community interested in these types of games, we can iron out the details later Those who want to do some stock 3025 games, maybe later we can also expand to just general 3025 custom, toss me a friend invite

Consider yourself corrected!

SMM & SMSs (There where Sat and Sun events for awhile) where Tech 1 exculsive. Stock Mech Era Wednesday had Star League and Clan Invasion events on cyclical rotation.

Edit: SMEW had 3025 days as well, i made it seem like they only did the others above.

If 3025 default was possible as a gamemode, where you could select any mech of that era, but it forces default loadout on launch, so you don't have to mess around in mechlab. Yes. I wish PGI would do this.
