So i spent a while writing this field manual, mainly for fun but what use is it if i don't share it?
Credit where credit is due, a lot of this is ripped from army tank tactics manuals, Sarna.net and the rest is either written by me or other players who are credited in the manual itself.
Feel free to download it and make suggestions/corrections in this thread as well as ask questions.
Enjoy!

I like it. A few factual errors (base sensor range is ~796 meters, not 1,000, for instance) and spelling/grammar/formatting, but some cool advice nonetheless.

I know where a lot of that information originates from. Not all of it is commonly used in MWO, and likely some of that is not even really useFUL in MWO. BUT, I'd definitely suggest new folks give it a read, parse it with what they're seeing in game, and apply it. ESPECIALLY the light/scout stuff, and that ESPECIALLY on Polar Highlands (where scouting is coming back in style, thank goodness).

You're bound to make a few changes after "Information Warfare" comes into play, but this looks good. Makes me nostalgic from my army days.

Exactly what I was thinking. PLDC. Grafenwoehr. My mind went straight there.

House Liao has many English speaking citizens. This edition is for the general population of the inner sphere, of which English is a dominant language.
