2LPL, 3MPL (I keep on chain fire for heat management), and 3 LRM10 Artemis.


Its a well balanced load out overall, with the only real downside being some heat management issues occasionally. Having the 3 MPL on the left arm gives almost the same alpha as the 4 LPL build within 300 meters ( -2 dmg T.T), while the right arm with the 2 LPL and the LRM10s can engage targets at longer range.

I think this would be good for a Champion mech because anyone can pick this one up and use it immediately; not that the other load outs are by any means inefficient.

Here's my take on a Gauss-Hawk:
WHK-B - 1x Gauss(3 tons ammo), 4x MPL, 3x SRM6 (2 tons ammo), 1x TComp mk1, 22x DHS total

This Warhawk is a little more on the 'brawley' side, with the gauss rifle there to keep heads down during your approach. The srm ammo count is a little low, but hiding those 2 tons between a few 1/2 tons of gauss ammo should help to crit pad them until you're close enough to use them.

Armor is maxed everywhere except the head (16/18) and legs (69/72). Cooling Efficiency is 40% (1.3/2 in-game)... just warm enough that newer players learn heat management, but not enough to punish them for a lack of experience. On that note, weapon grouping for this mech is kept simple (no real need to go beyond 3) and none of the weapon groups split their weapon placements between torso and arms.

(ie- ever see some hapless Atlas AS7-D or AS7-K constantly firing 4 medium lasers at everything but the Jenner dancing around of them? Circle vs cross-hair...... the struggle for attention is real when you're still asking about the 'quick-scope' button)

I've had a fair amount of success with this Warhawk B build. It harnesses the strengths of the B's missile chassis, but still gives you some up close whump, to finish off mechs later in the game.

mit 4 LPL läuft meiner im moment am besten ... und das sogar mit TC3 und 5 ... weils schon drin war und ich keinen bock hatte 1 zu kaufen :D

TC3-5 ist gut, aber mehr DHS ist gut auch.

(Sorry, havent spoken German in 10 years, lol)
