OK questions because you are not being clear. Are you meaning some one on your team giving out your positions or some one calling positions of enemy mechs to help the team?
If it is the later, I hope you understand this is a team game.

Really? Do you really think i would be mad, if it would be the second assumption.

The former should be reportable. That is to say, that nothing will get done about it.
DOES anyone pay any attention to those abuse reports?

Reporting systems works well we had a few bad apples in our TS and it calmed them right down. Its gives them warnings and short bannings. It a very good system people should use.

Only time I see people give up positions is:
1. The ally is shut down AFK
2. The ally is disconnected
If someone is still striving to get a kill, most people either leave or watch quietly. I've even seen people heip allies by pointing out someone they missed or telling them to unzoom because they're running around zoomed or telling them where the enemy was when they died.

In skirmish if an ally is disconnected, afk, or intentionally hiding/powering down to string out a game (I'll ask them why they're hiding first) then I will call them out to end the game sooner. If they are running around and possibly contributing that's fair.

So its bad/wrong to call your team mates position out because you are sour about being dead (correct), but then its ALSO bad/wrong for team mates to report said player because...
Right. Move along, nothing to see here...

players that call out mechs still in play (helping enemy)
players who hide and shut down (non-participation)
the only time the former is tolerable is if the latter applies to the mech being called. both are still technically reportable but me and many others usually dont care in that case.

At any rate, if someone called out a guy's position to end his time-wasting shenanigans, I couldn't care less.

This. Needlessly running out the clock and dragging out the match, if it's not leading to win - is against COC. And for me, player that is active (i.e. not DC or AFK), but avoids engaging (especially if he was avoiding it right from the beginning of the match, which caused our loss in a first place and is the reason, why he ended up as last man standing) - runs around the map, keeping safe distance from enemies or hides somewhere, enemies can't find him at (volcano's caldera at the corner of Therma - is the best place to engage with enemies, lol) - he falls under this category too. I.e. it's nothing, but survive-squirrel trolling.
