I do believe I have a screenshot of you running laps on the borders of Polar Highlands in a Skirmish match because you were pissed at people for voting on that map. Or maybe you were upset for other reasons. People almost never call out positions if someone's trying to play the game to the best of their abilities. When people are trolling, ain't nobody for time for dat.
At any rate, if someone called out a guy's position to end his time-wasting shenanigans, I couldn't care less.
There we go. You were in a match with me where my ONLY weapon an LPL got blasted out and no consumables were on this mech.

Non of this was available any more. - Thats what happend. And because nobody read, but feels he have the right to call someone else out, those coc conditions have to be removed. Who is dead has every time the way out of the match. There is no need. The enemy wanna have a kill - they have to work for it, if they can not do it in time clocks run down - they fail.

This. Needlessly running out the clock and dragging out the match, if it's not leading to win - is against COC. And for me, player that is active (i.e. not DC or AFK), but avoids engaging (especially if he was avoiding it right from the beginning of the match, which caused our loss in a first place and is the reason, why he ended up as last man standing) - runs around the map, keeping safe distance from enemies or hides somewhere, enemies can't find him at (volcano's caldera at the corner of Therma - is the best place to engage with enemies, lol) - he falls under this category too. I.e. it's nothing, but survive-squirrel trolling.
You should read the coc. It has conditions.
Another one was in a JM same condition as above.
And the last one was in a Spider while i was repositioning. Getting 2 more kills. But getting called out because some idiot to say it the best thought:

he has disconnected nad his mech is just running
This was the one why I started this thread.
I wish everybody who is so willfull to call out positions in this thread get one week penalty bench.

Shutting Down your ‘Mech or avoiding engagements with the enemy, and when doing so might be considered non-participation The use of the shutdown mechanic or avoiding contact with the enemy under the following situations may be classed as an act of non-participation, subject to evaluation and moderation actions by Support services:
Ceasing to meaningfully contribute for the remainder of the match if you still have support equipment, useful modules, or weapons (with any necessary ammo) available. Losing your primary weapon is not an acceptable excuse for hiding and/or shutting down if you still have a secondary weapon, a support-based item such as a TAG, or a consumable module available for use.
Running out the clock, or needlessly extending the duration of the match, in cases where doing so will not assist you towards victory.
Running out the clock or needlessly extending the duration of a Faction Play match in an attempt to keep a particular group or Unit in the current engagement for as long as possible, in cases where doing so will not assist you towards victory, is not considered an acceptable tactic.
Disliking a map or game mode or attempting to preserve a player statistic such as Kill/Death Ratio are not acceptable excuses for non-participation.
And hiding assists towards victory only in two cases:
Evading detection long enough to secure a win through Conquest points
Evading detection long enough to secure a timer expiration win when you have superior numbers, in circumstances where you may be too critically damaged to otherwise risk a direct engagement with the enemy
There are another 3 conditions, but they are applicable only to shutting down when you have a chance of winning:
Breaking a target lock
Appearing ‘heat neutral’ on maps where Thermal Vision might commonly be used
Presenting on opportunity for staging an ambush
This is not "I'll hide at the corner of the map, because I want to set my ambush there". This is short term tool. Enemy is near -> you hide -> he passes you -> you ambush him. Hiding for 10 minutes - isn't "setting up an ambush" sorry.

And you haven't read it in its fulfillness. That's what i'm talking about. Thats why people think they can go nuts in all chat, even if they are wrong! People who wrongly use it should perma kicked out of all chat.

Those, who say "I have a chance to win even when I sit in a corner of the map in 12vs1 situation" are the same people, who say "Killing isn't crime, when it's reasonable". People will always have some reasons and excuses to justify their crimes. Law is law. Crime is crime. Hiding of last man standing - is non-participation.

So let's see if i understand did you lost your only weapon and hide somewhere in a lame attempt to annoy and punish your enemies or it was because of a spider who was figthing and still killing their enemies?
if it's the 1st situation it's a no-no and you should not complain if people call you, if it's the second then the guy who called you is an *** and you are right.
Don't want people to call out your position don't afk until after everyone on your team is dead and the enemy starts firing shots at you.
Agree. I have a philosophy: if you want to win - try to win right from the beginning of the match. If you start "winning" only when match is already lost - then it's nothing more, then waste of others' time and trolling.
If you are bad at this game and die faster - quit the match and walk away - but f**** stop calling out positions losers!
Thx.
No. Because if you're so bad at this game that you feel a need to hide like a spineless coward for the last 5 minutes, powered down and facing a wall, thus locking my mech out of another match, I will gladly report your location to the enemy AND probably report you, too, for not participating. Too many clowns in this game worried about their epeens, and they all have some idiotic excuse to justify hiding, as if their "ambush" with 1 medium laser 2 km away from the nearest enemy is remotely effective. Grow up, die like a man, and let the other 23 players get their mechs back so they can go on leveling them.

If I might interject.
I see his problem so here's a superb illustration of what to bring to a gunfight.
By the esteemed actor Gregory Peck.
As one can plainly see int he below illustration.
"Never bring just one damn gun to a gunfight."
Thank you.
1) Scout for your team
2) Soak up fire that would be directed at your teammates (seriously, I've seen several teams snatch defeat from the jaws of victory because they focused the Atlas/Thunderbolt/Hunchback/Jenner/whatever that had no more weapons and ignored the enemy 'Mechs that were shooting them)
Options which you should not do and for which I will call out your position:
1) Running aimlessly around the map when you're the last man standing, unless it's an Assault/Conquest and we have a chance to win through caps
2) Hiding and powering down
3) Disconnecting/AFK
4) Nonparticipation in general

If you would notice, PGI used the word "may". They will look into it. But, it does not mean sanction is automatic.
But, revealing the location of a teammate is a reportable offense:

Yes, an in-game action is the same as murder in the real world.

But what if you were the last person on your team? That is almost always the situation at hand. Should players just offer themselves for the kill on a silver platter?
If so, then I want an execution animation where the pilot is dragged from his Mech, hands tied behind his back, forced on his knees, and shot at the back of the head.

Well, in that case it´s: "Give me ramming speed!" (at least for me )
