Nope won't be the end of the line. Next content to be sold will be campaign and other mechs (That wouldn't fit MWO PVP, like Quadrapeds and aero fighter mechs) maybe even units, these would be only available in campaign because AI doesn't cry.
Some people here in the forums do look at the big picture like what could PGI make money on.

Is This The End Of The Line?

mechs arent content. in the end alot will feel samey. a persistent universe with rewards and drawbacks is the best way to continue this iteration of the franchise in my opinion.

How about these,
Javelin
Assassin
Lynx
Anvil
Penetrator (With Archer Chistofori hero)
Charger
Nightstar
Cerberus
Bane
Blood Asp
Every single one of these would be a pretty sweet ride.

My thoughts, from another thread.

I would be excited for new mechs if they actually were being implemented to fill a role or niche. But now, it just seems like a Pokemech got-to-collect-them-all mentality when it comes to adding mechs. This is especially true when you have PGI just asking what mechs the players want them to create and sell. Everyone is running around buying these mechs for nostalgia or hoping that they will be 'good', but PGI has no plan or direction for the content they are adding to the game.
