Not really. No LRM is efficient with Artemis. Unless you are specifically including Artemis in order to reduce lock-on time, you're wasting tonnage.

Don't believe me? Check your own stats. My stats indicate that Artemis gets me 0.81% more accuracy. (40.97% Clan ALRM-15 vs 40.16% Clan LRM-15.)

Zero point eight one percent.

Fire 1000 missiles, and 8 extra hit. EIGHT. Yeah, that's totally worth 4 extra tons on an LRM-60 boat. O.o

It's a waste of tonnage. I've pretty much stopped using it because of this.

Wow and I read LRM's were just NOOB weapons but look at all these guys... Posted Image Never realized there were so many NOOBS on the Forums that could do LRM MATHS... Good job noobs.. LOL Posted Image j/k but seriously... LRM Maths????

How so? I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Artemis adds tonnage, which reduces your available ammo. How does that let you fire more shots?

Faster lock on means more chances to fire. Better tracking means being able to fire on targets you otherwise wouldn't even consider. I'd rather put more damage on target sooner than ineffectively lob missiles after everyone else is dead because I couldn't hit often enough for it to matter.
