Alright so, Tarogato pointed out to me that I have made my 1000th post, I've been looking for a lame excuse to do a give away, so I'll be doing one.... for my 1001st post.

I remember when I started playing I used a Hunchback 4G, a Commando 2D, and a Katapult K2.

So my challenge will be that anyone who gets a 1001 damage match in one of those mechs, and shows the screenshot of the damage and variant name, in a PUG non CW solo match will win.

Now what is it that you will win you ask?

A Standard $20 dollar Kodiak pack... or comparable pack at 20 dollars or less.
In the case of multiple people succeeding in the task the first person to respond gets it.

Given the mech choices a 1001 damage match might not be that easy, but you will have until the Kodiak pre-orders are stopped to do it.

I do ask that the match be a recent one, from a time dated after this post. PS, a 1000 damage match will get you my pity but nothing more.

After some consideration I've decided to make the damage you must get be anything between 1001 and my current post count at the time you post your results.... this will make the event easier to win as it goes on if I keep posting regularly.

I've also decided to tack on the Hero variant on the pack you choose for being such a hero and completing my quest.

Oh man, that is awful luck. Here, it's not my event, but I will personally compensate anyone that happens to hit 1000 damage on the money. Same prize pool, constraints, etc.

Now THIS chap is way more reasonable. LoL.

On a serious note, it's bad enough that El Bandito had a 823dmg giveaway with multiple win conditions (which was win very luckily by Ghogiel in a VTR no less!).

But to impose a higher damage condition with such specific mechs is pretty scary. Not saying I won't try but honestly, those conditions are REALLY tough!

Guess we got a double event running now

As a side note, I've been up awhile and thought I said something about "1001 and up" but I didn't... I feel as though I should increase the reward somewhat or make the task mildly easier by making it a range between 1001 and my current post count at the time.

as a 4G aficionado, you gonna have to have REAL sloppy aim with the 4G and a lot of time spent with lazors to get that damage.

Personally I think it shoudl be changed to any match scoring at least 1001 dmg, as it's a pure crapshoot where you land exactly, but it ain't my contest.

Personally I have only broken 1000 in my 4G once and I felt bad because I was sooooooo sloppy that match.
(800ish dmg and 5-6 kills is a PROPER carry harder match in a 4G)

I was hoping for your input with how much you use the 4G. I had originally planned to have it be at least 1001 damage, but with the miracle that was El Bandito's event being won I decided to leave it in a range for now. It truely will be a very hard fought match to get the damage values needed for this event, especially using the 3 mechs I have selected for it.

Which I happen to be increasing further with this post.

Sorry if I offended you there Dakota. Appreciate the giveaway nonetheless. Glad the win condition got edited to a reasonable, even if narrow range. More so that the Hero got tacked on as well. I would have loved to try this in a quirked 4G but I don't have that chassis elited. Oh wells, guess it'll be the trusty K2.

Damn, that would be hard to do. Is there a damage meter so you know when you are getting close to 1001 damage so you don't go over?

So right now any match between 1001 and 1004 dmg would qualify. Unless you turn into Me or Joseph Mallon overnight that window should stay pretty small!
