Compared to any other ballistic weapon in-game, the MG's tracers serve absolutely no purpose!

Please remove the tracers, it would atleast bring us 1 step closer to the trailer's look and feel from your 2009 trailer you made youselves!

I know it might seem like complaining but I just want to reassure you, I just want to help you guys out. It would also help reduce visual clutter in-game which is already prominent and slows down even good gaming machines.

If I wouldn't care I wouldn't post anything at all.

Thank you for reading.

Why? They look fine.

No. This is simply complaining, there's nothing great about the 2009 trailer MG tracers. In fact, I'll even say that it looks terrible.

You don't even understand this topic, and you didn't even open the link I gave you! *facepalm* I give up, I don't even deal with this much usually on a daily basis. -_____-
probably because you haven't said what your issue is.

I assume you're talking about how the tracer rounds (particle effect) have travel time and thus don't actually represent where the bullets (which are technically hitscan weapons like lasers) are actually travelling.

But you don't say this. You just say they should be removed because they serve no purpose.

I'd argue they serve a purpose (to look cool), and that they do, but there's a valid discussion to be had about it.

Still, if you want to call people toxic, its probably better if you present your ideas better first so they understand what you're talking about.

That's the reason why they're in the game, to be visible. Else people would complain about invisible something hitting them, sure there would be the sound but if the rounds have no tracers, one could boat many MGs and be undetected by shooting them since they'd have no visual. Which is a terrible game design idea.

I understood his point since the beginning, I just disagreed with him. It's on him if he wants to become toxic, while called others toxic.

Lets just leave them alone and let the Dev's work on something more important such as expanding the game.
