Is there any chance the Energy Mount in the CT would shoot Rainbows? Even PULSE RAINBOWS! ER RAINBOWS

Awwww MYGAWD YESSSSSSSSSS.

Bishop while we're doing Poo, can we go for Paddington Bear? Oh my the ENTIRE line of Carebears! Then when we get to the Goliath/Thunder Stallion we can cover ALL the Ponies.

We already have lockbox/gambling/slotmachine crates so the possibilities are endless!

Cuddles FTW!

I will tell you a story:

Once upon a while I took my Heavy Metal out for a spin in it´s natural paint scheme. Some guy said the following:
"Yo sailor whats up yo mech is pink"
He couldn´t believe that was the standard camo of the HM.

So I will second your petition just for the off chance that guy sees the pink bear ingame and just drops dead.

I'll only support this if I can finally get a proper pink paint unlock for my mechs.

define "proper" pink.

Most I see are pushing for Neon Pinks or even into Magentas (which aren't actually link).

Going in the other direction, some skins, like Steiner make Amaranth into an outstanding Pastel/Carnation type pink.

But in general, the palette is short on pinks, no doubt.

The closest pink I've yet found, other than the Heavy Metal, which you can't put on other mechs, is, I think something like "Marik Violet" or "Marik light violet", something like that, which looks somewhat pink in the mechlab, but just looks purple on most maps.

When I say pink, I mean pink, like you get on pretty much any breast cancer support item these days.

OK, I ask, because:

which is achieved using Amaranth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink
covers a wide range, from pastel to intense.
On the intense side, like this

or

we are indeed, largely lacking. (Well, as noted earlier, in pinks in general) It also can vary highly in the orange to purple values. (coral being an "orange/pink" for instance)

It's just that most people I have conversations seem to think this

which is actually a Magenta (or fuchsia)

Which we need more of, also.

Honestly, what we need is a Color Blender Palette in the Paintlab, where we mix our own, and then lock and confirm it, pay a set MC price (750) with and option for Premiums like Metallic Skins, Glittered, Matte, Glossy, etc that can be applied by channel.

Here is my best attempt at creating an obnoxious pink paint, i have used the ghost bear camo as it is the most vibrant pattern and allows for the light pink camo to fade on the bottom of the violet to create a more traditional pink colour. i wasn't sure what to do with the (ice?)shards, so i left them violet too

what do you think? have you done better? let me know ^^

ah, but you see, as the OP brings out, it's easy to avoid.

Having channel 2 be the snout, and belly/chest plate is in no way a copyright infringement. Nor are Star, Rainbow, Sunshine, Stormcloud, etc, decals.

What WE choose to do with them, is not PGIs legal responsibility.

City of Heroes/Villains would like a word with you.

It may not be PGI's legal responsibility, but the IP holder can make it PGI's responsibility to remove offending camo creations.

This is actually the color I use for pink. It shows up fairly pink in the mechlab, but in the lighting on almost every map, it comes off as more of a purple (which it is).

@Bishop, I'll try Amaranth under match lighting and see how it works out. My sense is that it's going to look very washed out, but we shall see.

match lighting...gonna depend a lot on the map, too. But I would love some screenies. Because Mechlab and in game can be very very different.

Very nice... do me a favor...compare it to using Brazilin in place of Camo Light Pink. I think you are on to something, but that Brazilin might do even better.

Can't show shots yet (at work) but I too got the best results so far with Ghost Bear camo as well, the way the two colors fade into each other allows a surprising amount of control.

sure, but that's one map. I'm curious about the others. Also, is that at night? Because the whole pic, including the snow is pretty dark in that shot.

Here's a sampling. As you can see, low light makes it look purple, intense light makes it look like it should.
