Couple cockpit standing items.

Consumables pack of coolshots, arty & Uav's.

Pretty standard, but still good stuff in there.

Why does PGI think GXP is worth something? I have like 250k GXP and have gotten all the modules that I want unlocked already. Even if I *were* to use it to level a mech, 1k GXP is nothing. I'd much rather have a title or some C-Bills.

It's quite a bit to a newer player who hasn't unlocked anything yet. That's really who these events are for anyway, to encourage them to play more often and give them some boosts to catch up with the long-term veterans, and maybe grab some trinkets along the way too. Titles are nice but they're not going to help a new guy get out of the rental mechs any faster.

I dont mind GXP being given in events as i do use it to level mechs with and moar is always better

Not everyone has been playing the game for a while. 15000gxp to unlock Radar Deprivation or Seismic can be a massive amount to some players.

I donno, I got some of these rewards and they sure are the same as mentioned in first post. Don't see a point for extra 250k C-bills, doesn't help at all..:/

I've checked the achievements list, it's not there.

I still don't understand what is it that I have to do! I'm winning with lights, with mediums, with champion mechs - my progress on these challenges isn't advancing. Although with some of them I already have 25-50% completion.
Or are those the types of mechs I have to kill?..

Few things to keep in mind:
You need at least 150 match score in the match for it to count.
Also, there's a delay, up to 15 minutes, until the stats are shown on the webpage.

You don't necessarily have to win the matches to get the Weight-class specific challenges. Just need to do well enough to get 150 match score (this isn't much, mind you. It's probably to deter afk-farming).
