If you're using it to level mechs and not unlock modules then you obviously have a TON of GXP. 1k more won't help much; what can you unlock for 1k? The average unlock is something like 5k. 1k is like 1 game's worth.

True, it's a big chunk. But by the time you can afford $6M per module 1k GXP isn't so much. And since you can convert normal 1k XP to GXP for 40 MC (20 MC on sale) I guess I'd rather get 15 or 20 MC than 1k GXP.

I don't want to sound ungrateful for freebies. But when you look at achievement rewards or other rewards, and some give MC or Premi Time or cool titles or tons of C-bills, and some give like 500 or 1k GXP, it seems like a booby prize. I'd rather get a Flamer!

As someone who just started i appreciate the 1000 GXP more than the 250k credits. As a Beginner i'm lucky to get 50-100GXP in a match so it worth more than 10 matches and it's not like all Prizes are GXP it is 2 of 12.

Though what does kinda dissappoints me in this Event (and when i read the history right most before this). Is that nearly all only Apply to Quickplay and i wonder what the Reason behind that might be... The Queue times for Factionplay seem rather dry anyway while quickplay is like instantgo (if you dont mind to play on all 3 servers atleast) So the Events draw even more Players away from the more interesting Factionplay as they can't do Eventstuff there.
