As stated above, Nova Cats are primarily known as mystics, but they are not the only ones. Clans Goliath Scorpion and Coyote also have mystical traditions, they are also staunch Wardens (coincidence? ). Lore-wise Nova Cats and Diamond Sharks join the Big Four later in the course of the invasion and get their codices handed to them by ComGuard at Tukayyid. You may just pick timed contracts with a Warden clan (happens to be only Wolf since Ghost Bears are still Crusaders until the Great Refusal much later) and stick with them until Nova Cats are in the game. Also since you are new, I advise to pick only timed contracts and not go for Loyalist since it has no substantial benefits right now and the cost of breaking it is over the roof.

None of the in game Clans have something similar to those visions, at least as far as I am aware. I seem to remember there being a Nova Cat unit out there. Might check the recruitment forums.

Yeah unfortunately a wave of nationalism and xenophobia along with another Kurita-Combine War causes the Dracs to wipe the cats out.
Oh and the Goliath Scorpions are pretty cool, they're like historians. They even create their own little empire in the Neuva Castile.

True. Technically speaking though Clan "Spirit Cat" who were warriors that broke away from Clan Nova Cat during the late Dark Age are the last surviving elements of Clan Nova Cat. Clan "Spirit Cat" made there home in The Free Worlds League alongside Clan Sea Fox to create the Clan Protectorate. Those few Nova Cats that survived the war against The Combine joined up with Clan "Spirit Cat" in the Clan Protectorate alongside those Nova Cats that had been fighting in The Republic of the Sphere. The Clan Protectorate is total bros with Jessica Marik and The Free Worlds League.

Unofficially, Clan Nova Cat International was by far the largest (of two?) Clan Nova Cat groups in MWO. At our peak, we had around 50 active members. We even made a pretty impressive showing in the RHOD League in the 4v4 format - up until our extremely small competitive team got burned out. However it was game stagnation, burnout, inevitable internal drama, and the constant impression of PGI being anti-clan (that is starting to alleviate, somewhat) that drove our players away slowly, bit by bit. We were stable for a good two years, but after that we just couldn't do it any more.
People got bored, turnout was reduced, and the pool of potential recruits was extremely shallow prior to the Steam release, meaning we eventually reached a point of unsustainable attrition. When you're a small group, small losses are huge and snowball quickly. As a result, we eventually "deactivated," though some of us still play fairly actively. Some are even well known, such as Kanajashi who, if you have not checked out his videos, has produced some of the best player tutorial videos the community has. At this point, due to our lives being busy enough as it is, none of us has the time, energy, or dedication to build Clan Nova Cat back up to a truly activated status in Mechwarrior Online.
Even if nobody else picks up the reigns, know that whenever you see an Alpha Galaxy paint job stomping around, there are Nova Cats out there. Strong alone and stronger together, but for now we wander.

Well, not exact, but as close as PGI lets us. :\ And yea, I actually like Ghost Bear Blue because it works really well on the widest range of ambient lighting through the various maps. Stays "blue" even on maps like Caustic. Oddly, on Terra Therma we found that surprisingly the camo spec works really well at blending into the mountains with and without Night Vision.

Man, I wish aerospace combat was a thing. Nova Cats and Snow Ravens kinda sorta bonded on that mutual love of flight.
Yea. Even if they were AI controlled support units. I'd love to see this game expand into combined arms warfare: consumable modules for Infantry, Vehicles, Aerofighters and Battle Armor! Would be really useful for a focused assault or guarding a strategic chokepoint, and air superiority could help protect against Air Strikes and soften enemy ground forces before armies collide.
