Which variants would you want?

We're definitely getting a new Catapult Hero mech, the Butterbee. So what other variants would you want? Any variant from any year, but only if it has the tech currently in the game.

Here's what I want:

• Raven 3M: Comes stock with 2 small lasers, 1 small pulse lasers and 1 LRM15. With some extra hardpoints, this could be a nice addition to the Raven flock. Maybe give it 3E 3M, for example.
  
• AWS-9Q: Comes stock with 4 PPCs and ECM. Nuff said.
  
• VTR-9A: AC20 + 1 additional MG and 2 extra flames in addition to the standard 2ML and SRM4. Presumably, those 3 extra weapons are equipped in the torso and/or left arm. So you could potentially carry dual gauss and 4 lasers, for example. With Victor jump jets. Sweet Jesus!

Stalker-3Fb. 6 energy, 2 missile, and ECM. Old SLDF design. Will definitely replace my 4N in CW.

Battlemaster-1Gb is also a unique design that carries dual energy mounts on each arms on top of three torso energy points, one that is located in the CT. Currently no Battlemaster has more than one energy point in the arms and indeed none in the CT.

Due to LegoMechs, any number of variants could be created instantly.

Victor 9A is already in the files, but seems to have been scrapped for the Dragon Slayer (making use of the Torso E hardpoints where the Flamers went, and ditching the LT ballistic entirely). It's what, 2 years old now? I'm not sure we'll ever get it.


If the combinations of hardpoints exist, you can get the mech. The ButterBee, for example, is just a mix of the C1 and C4, and can take the same hardpoints. Only work for PGI is the variant implementation (Copy Pasta?) and paint job (artist work).

I would like to see the Venom SDR-9K. Trouble is it is a 35 Ton mech vs the 30 Ton Spiders available now. 4E hardpoints would be fun on a Spider.

BJ-2 should not have been a Hero variant. Personally, I'm glad the Arrow is a thing; it still remains my most played 'Mech and in my top 3 most successful, too.
