Are you ******** me? Why are there energy hardpoints duct tapped over the old ones. Why wasn't the old laser lens textures just removed? The Catapult was cursed with VCRs, so the Stalker gets guitar amps for its LRMs? (thank god I don't actually run LRMs on my Stalkers.) Also why is there an SRM6 tumor on top? With how small it is, it could have easily fit more forward on the nose...

The smaller missiles aren't even that bad, even if it follows the STUPID trend of plugged holes.

You should see the 3-H, the SRM-6 and LRM5 torso racks have missing polygons on it Posted Image

Probably other variants as well.

Haha! I didn't buy a Stalker - I win!

Looks kinda meh though. not eye bleedingly terrible, but not great... It could definitely use some alignment adjustments on the lasers it looks like.

You mean that ****? Yeah, looks unprofessional as ****.

There is a silver lining. The Misery actually has a terrifying cannon of death and not some ugly *** hexagonal polygon jutting from its cheek.

Wow I just checked and that's really lazy. The PPC's don't go all the way back and have this odd gaping hole behind them where you can still see the laser mount... Have to tweet russ about this

Maybe I'll finally have to stop worrying about losing my left torso from incoming fire on the right side :D

Man this whole patch seemed rushed and just straight up junk where Q&A are concerned.

Missed IS mechs with the laser Nerf, nerfed bad clams, made flamers OP as all get out and this sloppy job on a mech that hasnt been touched in years.

Bravo, i think i will take a break from this game for a day or two.

It looks like there are several layers of material groups, and those polys got mis-grouped, meaning that although the texture group is correct, the shading or normal group is incorrectly assigned. It could also be that the faces of the polys are back to front. I wonder if there is a chance that the hit detection bounding polys also face backwards or something, meaning no hits are detected there...

Mirror mesh fail. :D

Yep... and somewhere a Catapult cries in a corner, with VCR ears.

I still say the Awesome is one of the worst jobs they've done. They LOWERED the 2nd energy hardpoints in the torso, and make the missiles into random textures splattered all over everything like a skin disease. And check out the Awesome's with left-arm missile launchers - some of the missiles fire from the armor plate on the left shoulder?! Not a launcher on the armor plate - the plate itself.

So, after seeing previous train-wrecks, this one is par for the course. Still bad, but expected, sadly.

Actually, I agree with how underwhelming the geometry pass was. I understand criticizing visuals on a mech when that is often what sells mechs.

I'm guessing it was the old model not meant for variable geometry along with a lack of resources (time on the project) assigned to make it happen.
