If you're buying something that is released, like wave three, origins, Rifleman, Marauder it will appear within about an hour of payment clearing.
If it hasn't been released (Archer, Kodiak) you'll get it on the release date at about 10am Canadian time.

Should be an account injection at login some time within an hour, I think?
As for the owned mechs on your profile, it won't show up until you login to the game and acknowledge the account injection popup.

on the hour after the payment clears if it is one of the formally preorder packs, unless it is not yet released,
if it is a mastery pack from the in-game store it should show up immediately.
if it is something from the gift store, you should be emailed a code to redeem, after redeeming the code it should be with you within 15 minutes.

Ha! Didn't notice it at the time, Douglas grizzly, but you were in a CW drop with me last night. For some who's been in the game only a short while, you did alright. Especially since there was a 4-mech bunch on the other side, of REALLY good players, from one of the game's top teams. Winning feels good, doesn't it?
(Y'all, he finished a 46-31 win on only his second mech, and carved a notch in the ol' MWO bed post. Be proud of the new guy!)
