Well, it's been a damned long and painful climb through the Seven Underhive Hells up to Tier 1. Only playing solo queue, and trying my best to stay away from meta mechs. Sometimes relying on LRM boats to boost my score, granted. Many of you have reached Tier 1 weeks or months before me, maybe even starting as Tier 1 right when PSR was introduced.

Personally, I started as Tier 3. Probably partially because I hadn't been playing on this account very much while PGI was gathering data, and partially because I'd been splitting my time between accounts, and partially because I only play solo queue, and partially because I like to play silly builds, such as my 3PPC + 1 Small laser AWS-8Q. And who knows, maybe I'm not as good at this as I like to believe.

At any rate, I'd like to apologize to anyone who I've been rude to for the last few weeks. Matchmaker made one last herculean effort to keep me trapped in the steeringwheel underhive, and I think I had about 50 matches with a 90% losing rate just as I was a few pixels away from filling the bar. Every time I was making progress, matchmaker just crushed my hopes and dreams and gave me a cleansing roflstomp *****.

I've said and done some things that I regret. I lost my mind a few times. Terribly sorry to the people I've trolled, insulted, disparaged and otherwise been a jerk to. I've reached the only goal I've had in MWO since 2014, I think. Now I'm going to switch to my Clan account for a while, with no goals what so ever, except to be nice to people.

Praise the sun.

Congrats on Tier 1.

Sorry, for being an idiot, but what is level 60 referring to?

most MMORPG level based games tend to have level 60 as the highest level for the game (until expansions) for your characters so reaching teir 1 here would be like hitting lvl 60- no place else to go.

I'd happily trade a lower number of inexperienced players who fire LRMs at point blank or snipe with medium lasers from 600 meters for some bigger challenges, more pain and more salt.

The salt doesn't bother me very much anymore. I just find it amusing.

I started at Tier 4, got up to a high T3, then had a string where I decided to try a bunch of different "lulz" builds and before I knew it I had overheated, kamikazed, and laughingly facepalmed myself to a .25 k/d and low T4. I'm recovering from that now.

My advice -- there's plenty of salt if you really want it.
