Alright, here's one I've had periodically since beginning in this game... every so often, my 'Mech will begin turning to the right, when I'm not pushing that button on the keyboard, and it will keep doing it. The only way I've been told I can fix it is to quit from the drop, and then rejoin. The PROBLEM with that solution is that I invariably get killed seconds after I rejoin the drop.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

If so, do you have an alternate solution to leaving the drop and rejoining?

If not, are you paying attention to this problem, PGI?

Now, I've tried to address this problem, before, and thought PGI had fixed it, as I've not experienced it for, perhaps, a year... now, however, the problem is back.

I do not believe I have ever had that problem. As a serious suggestion, have you tried replacing your keyboard with an alternative one or, perhaps, cleaning the keys? There might be a stuck or malfunctioning button. If you have and it still persists, I highly recommend sending a bug report to support.

I haven't seen this bug in a while. When it was prevalent, the only workaround was to leave match and rejoin.

The only thing I can think of is a "joystick" that would be causing this.

I have had it maybe a dozen times. I usually power down and back up, and it fixed itself. I would like it gone though

My rudder pedals that I use in flight sims caused my spinning. I removed them and the problem went away.

I usually got this problem when using jump-jets with my catapults.

The issues I notice is in-game keyboard will set itself as us/American keyboard layout. Not my actual Swedish one and then jump-jets get stuck on full throttle and now and then you will start to spin as well... It's a damn pain...

Try to aim and shoot like that...

I've had this on occasion. I just spam the direction keys power down and up etc, eventually the server stops spazzing out and hitting A or D releases from the spin.

I have this too from time to time and found out that alt-tab on the desktop and then back in the game is the fastest fix for it.

Yep! This happened to me too. Either joystick, rudder pedals or gamepad can cause this problem. Check your input devices.

Have you tried tapping the key on your keyboard? I get that problem when my keys stick sometimes...

Your Mech may also have forgotten why it entered that zone and may be trying to exit and reenter to see if it triggers a memory.

Lastly, you may be in a tight spot and be unconsciously following a friend's personal, MWO mantra: "When in times of danger, when in fear and doubt, run in little circles, wave your arms and shout!"

I hope one of these three suggestions helps and wish you the best of luck! ;)

This one and the one where you get the torso shakes are maddening. I'm like Bishop, I've been lucky not to see those bugs for awhile. Mine were driver related. When I got an Nvidia video card instead of ATI the problem stopped.

I remember now.....

I quit getting this bug after I started doing clean installs with the Nvidia driver updates.

Its just a dropped packet de-sync.

Always clears up for me if I just start turning right for a second or two so the server sees the command and can pop back out of the loop its in.

I have only had this happen once to me. As Deathlike has said it was the one and only time I connected a joystick to the game. I think I played with the control bindings on the joystick and finally got it to stop doing this. But then of course I got rid of the joystick.

Samething happens to me every so often since my PC is in the living room I run a 50ft USB and HDMI cable to my bedroom and not quite enough power can reach my mouse, keyboard and keyboard LED's(even if I turn LED's off it'll still do it)

Because of that my mouse and keyboard will DC and leave my mech to keep doing whatever button that was pressed right at the moment of DC until it reconnects but sometime it'll keep doing that last function of the DC.

It happens rarely for me so it's not an issue.

Happens to me sometimes. No other peripherals than keyboard/mouse.

Like was said above, walking in the same direction manually (pressing the keys) fixes it after a second.

This keyboard is only a couple of months old, and should not need a cleaning, right now. Thank you.

Sorry, I have the hand-eye coordination of a brick wrapped with other bricks, so no joystick or pedals for me.

I was driving a Catapult at the time, but have had this problem in other 'Mechs, and I was out in the water at the time, so no need to use Jump Jets. Thank you for giving me something look for, though.

For some reason my alt+tab isn't working, though I've tried alt+enter... however, if I can figure out how to get my alt+tab working, again, I'll certainly give that a shot.

My latest driver update was what, three weeks ago, maybe four, and it was, indeed, a clean install.

I'll try that out next time; that is something I've also not yet tried.
