So I was running my dual gauss rifle ebon jag w/ 7 tons of ammo, and after a few games with it pulling regularly 500-600-700 damage, I got the idea that in theory the following build might actually work:

My theory being.... well I mean its 35% velocity on an ER PPC, and it should be fairly simple to match up the guass and ppc shots and do basicly the same thing, but actually have some utility as well because... well 3 ER Small lasers right?

So, after some mental gymnastics I convinced myself to do it while knowing FULL WELL this would never actually worked and then this happened:

So I'm now starting the Abominations thread: Post the builds that clearly should have NEVER worked, and the videos/ images of their ridiculous success.

I also have an Urbie with 3 LLasers (cooler than you would think it would be). I wasn't going to mention that one because it was TOO horrendous of an abomination, but the cat is out of the bag now.

I got a Jäger with 2xAC10 and 4xSRM2 I call it facesmash. I think it even has artemis.

And I got a Banshee with Ac20, 1LPL, 1ERLL and 5MLs. It just vomits all over other mechs. Pretty fun and actually effective.

Triple AC/2 Centurion with an XL engine and about 500 rounds. It's rarely below 500 damage and at least one kill.

Kit fox with dual large pulse lasers (before the buff to energy heat). I had some absolutely silly games with that thing where I killed nearly half the enemy team.

Running around with my vindicator with Triple AC2 as well, and like you it rarely has low damage games despite being probably terrible.

Just got out of a stupid match in the most lulzy mech i've ever made. Cant post screenshots but the build was ac20 and a flamer on a raven 4x.

Ended the match as last man standing with 4 kills. I even had the most ridiculous lag spike i've ever seen.

I was going to mention my tripple A/C2 Vindi 1X too lol.

I'm currently running it with 2 A/C2s and a PPC, but I am half tempted to go back to the glory of the tripple A/C2

Just because i hate earless timbers running around all the time. A timber without big missile ears is not a timber. Even SRM won't cut it, because the box is too small.

Many think an XL 390 Trebuchet would be laughably bad but I used it to great success, pre clans. Might not be as great these days with Ice ferrets running around doing the same thing but with more firepower. Also how great are Ice Ferrets!
