Mech Packs will never go on sale...most likely there will be complaints up the WAZOO from the Original Buyers. I am a Original Buyer, but wouldn't complain since i got the Early Adopter Rewards.


Early Adopter Rewards when buying the MECH PACKS are an important variable when I purchase.

You do know the IC Mechs dropped without quirks for a reason, right? It's to see how well they perform prior to applying quirks. They are a new hybrid technology platform and PGI released them quirkless to get an accurate measurement of their base values in a live environment.

But, hey, First Impressions are the most important ones to many.

Aren't MC sales on mechs supposed to be 50% off and for 35% on cbills?

Seems like a weak sale to me.

Well the price does come to worht if you got multiple mechs of a variant... for eg I got 7 stalkers. a perma skin on those is better on a sale than 7 single one shot skins.

Yeah, but I don't like having so many clones. I like making each Variant different, as per my tastes. My particular OP is to use the same color across all variants of a chassis, but use a differing cammos. I did that for my Hunchbacks, Shadow Hawks... Then realized how much MC it costs and kind of stopped doing it for all but my absolute favorite Mechs.

I would get Premium Time....preferably when it goes on sale 50%. 365 day premium time when it was on sale 50% off for around $50.00 something was awesome.

Then what ever mech you use it will get the C-Bill Bonus and XP Bonus.
Grind away and just get the Resistance Mechs by paying with C-Bills.

Use the Trial variants of Resistance 2 Mechs and gain XP points while your grinding away. Then when you buy your own Resistance 2 Mech...it will have those XP points from the Trial Variant.

If you need Free Mech Bays, do CW drops...2 week contracts with Clan Faction or Inner Sphere. Rank 2 is easy to get a Free Mech Bay in CW...Rank 6 for the Free Mech Bay in CW is a bit of a grind.

I got about 18 free Mech Bays, I think, from doing just CW which if you do it also will provide a home for your Resistance 2 Mechs.

Resistance 2 Mechs--they are worthy mechs, I like them Especially the Mauler and Black Knight Medium Pulser.

Would you think that might make the ghost Bear that's 20$ a worthy expenditure then by comparison ?

And what about the special variants in the bundles/mastery packs? Are the gift shop or in game versions a better buy in that regard ? I'm mostly interested in the Stalker, Cicada, and maybe Jenner.

Well that's a bit of a different situation I guess. Most of the time people only have that 1 preffered skin and would use it on all their mechs (or the unit requires that skin only)

Disappointed! I will have to wait to see what goes on sale next week. I want to buy but only the real Clan Mechs. I missed many of those because I did not come back to the game in time so I will have to wait for them to cycle around again.

Jenner IIC doesn't need quirks, especially the 6 missle one...throw 6 srm 6 on it, and even with quirks, it will hurt that enemy mech bad, especially if you are a good shot.

My positive, successful experiences so far with my Highlander IICs make me not believe you. Too bad they're not on sale, or I would have picked up the 4th variant that I missed out on by ordering late.

It's not whining, it's feedback. When you have a thread filled with negative/ambivalent comments about a sale, then you know it's probably a bad idea to run that kind of sale again.

Unless you're PGI. Then you don't learn from your mistakes, you just keep doing the same thing over and over, hoping one day it'll have a different result.... Like even having a thread for people to post about an MC sale, when every one they've ever had has met this same response. A universal "meh" from the community.
