everyone, should be able to have the mechs they want. I guess the Rakshasa would be a Bonus for the IS version of the mad kitty.

My point exactly I think it could work in the MWO format. I mean the Marauder has missles but they are all on one side and not split between the side torso.

i would definitely support the addition of the Rakshasa it would be an interesting addition to MWO (hell my Merc unit in HBS Battletech (with roguetech mod) had one for a while)

hell we could do a double release like they did with the Roughneck and Sunspider. release the Mad Cat MK3 (a medium class Mad Cat) with the Rakshasa. i'm not a clan mech player but it would be an interesting combo. though with the Rakshasa PGI would have to come up with a least a couple of their own variants since i don't think it had many. then again they could just copy some of the Mad Cat ones like one with ballistic arms and energy in the shoulder pods (or vice versa) or other such configurations.

Goonhammer did a hilarious review of the tabletop Rakshasa, which has four canonical variants. One of them can't be done in the current MWO (MML-7s), and one of them is essentially identical to the main variant. In terms of MWO you'd expect the typical batty hardpoint bloat, but as a general rule it's a bunch of E in the arms, then some M and a smattering of E in the shoulders. Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin - big "we have the Mad Cat at home" energy, and people don't even like Timber Wolves much these days. Obviously enough SuperMegaUltraQuirking can save anything, and the MWO art team has saved uggo 'Mechs in the past. But it kinda feels like the time for "Hey it's the IS Mad Cat, isn't it awesome?" has passed.
