I go away for awhile and come back and learn that

ghost heat is going? new engine?

Great news for all! Who lit a fire under Russ' office chair??

I hope I didn't miss any other insane news.

Looking forward to that stuff. Feel like I should do some drops but with RL stuff being very busy and also Dark Souls 3 coming which is going to cap off the greatest game series of all time (so naturally - beat Demon's Souls a couple weeks ago, middle of DS1, then DS2 before I get my DS3 collector edition )

Just not much time for old MWO these days. Who ever is responsible for these wild and much needed changes though... kudos.

It's called a distraction. Have another Mech Pack or two in the mean time.

Lol yea. My days of pre ordering are over. I ordered the Archer long ago, that was my last one. Found the Warhammer to be... disappointing. Hopefully the Archer is decent, though I like the different loadouts you can put on it rather than the usual hardpoints. Many missiles will be a fun change

Either way, it doesn't matter. I'm so happy about Dark Souls 3 PGI can come to my house and fart on my dinner for all I care....

the other night's town hall sounded like 3 loud people at a bar boasting loudly about this and that. making mountains out of mole hills talking loudly about their over ambitious plans and grossly exaggerating and accomplishments. buisness as usual.

needless to say i noticed russ said something about being able to stay in buisness for four years. but if it takes 2 years to implement even the most basic of plans, then that means the game will not be significantly different from the way it is now before it servers get taken down and hawked for beer money.

Im still grinding my saber reinforcement... anyway all the other packs will always be on sale...

I knew the game would finally get to this point.. Especially after last years back end changes, and GUI ect. Spent a year on stuff that we are now getting to seeing how it helps them in the long run..

Best piece of info was the new tech update, but GW3 around the corner, 4v4 faction play, new game mode, and a new map next month! WOOT!

re-size coming, and a new hopefully improved heat system to curb alphas.. so much great news..


Now please in some town hall coming soon, you announce the bushwacker mech pack!

Doesn't matter how long a break you have from MWO you can be sure there isn't much change. Hasn't been anything game changing since ever. Ghost Heat leaving is good but not a game changer. New engine...good? We will see. Nothing in this town hall announced can have as big an impact as CW phase 3 SHOULD. I have my doubts since PGI is PGI.

Why wait? Play through Dark Souls 1 and 2 again, now!

And I've come to find that pure strength builds in DS 2 Scholar of the First Sin are quite overpowered at least in regular NG.

+10 Ultra Greatswords are nasty.

It is a interesting change from the faith builds I ran the last few times.

Oh yea. I was rockin Penetrator greatsword, STR/FTH/END build. Face destroyer!! i just beat Manus is DS1... almost finished that one then it's on to DS2

God I love these games So much variety in viable character builds.... unlkie some titles Also, the PvP is frigging amazing (unless you get a cheater)
