And even then, it's lower skill to aim- and correspondingly spreads damage. The skill involved is more positioning than being able to put your crosshairs on robot and watch the lasers hit precisely where aimed, of course.

Anyone who wants an example of the skill required in LRM use can point straight at the classic example of a trash-tier lurmer...the guy who parks himself at excessive ranges, fails to predict cover, and exclusively relies on hiding behind his team while mashing the launch key and going "I'M HELPING!".

Of those skills, he has none.
