On the upside, those looking to get the Highlander IICs that were previously not on sale, well, they are now.

Seriously though, I am the proof reading department. Senior Writer/Editor is my actual job (just not for PGI), and we're currently woefully under-staffed... down 2/4 staff members since December and 3/4 staff members since Feb 1st... no wonder I haven't had the energy to play much lately

Anyway... highly recommend the Hunchback IIC. Lotsa fun, I'd skip the missiles personally and pick up the other three. Dual UAC10, whichever energy spam you prefer, and then single UAC20 in a traditional Hunchback setup for the C variant. Traditional, except with bigger clan XL and jump jets... glass cannon at its finest and a lot of fun as a result.

I want that mech to be good, because it looks so cool.
*sigh* Russ probably wont give it structure buffs or anything because its a Clan Battlemech...

Don't listen to him... I love my Highlander IICs. I wish they'd get a bagpipe warhorn! I love them so much, I actually blew money to get the tartan pattern for them too. My IIC-B (I think.... The one with 4 missile slots) is a light-mech hunter, protecting my fellow assaults wit 4 SSRM6, an LB20X, and 2MPLs. It kills lights fast!
My (O) has 3LRM15+A, 3ERMLs, UAC10, and a Targeting computer... it's a really good mech for mid-range.
I'd like to see them get some structure quirks, as they feel just a little squishy, but there's tonnage to spare even with max engine and JJs. More than anything I'd like to see assault JJs de-nerfed, but they are still useful as-are. They are great mechs.

I never said I didn't have fun in mine, because I do. Its an excellent face smasher with SRMs. But they arent that great. Once elited they're ok.
My greatest memory to date right now in mine is JJ behind a timber and a marauder on Mining Collective and completely ruining their day before the evem realized they were flanked.

I own them personally since they came out, the only problem I have is that they don't have very good agility, otherwise I'd be kicking *** and chewing bubble gum like there's no tomorrow.
Other than that they shall be officially called "Lowlander IICs" until they get a few agility buffs they deserve.

I wouldn't turn down structure buffs, but they neither need nor should they have them.
What they do need, however, is two things: they need jump jets fixed, because jj's are the defining Highlander feature and the current 2t each Hoverjets are awful. Second, they need agility quirks. Post agility needs, a 95tmech with a 325 engine cap simply needs them. The DWF has an excuse ( it can mount ALL THE GUNS) but the poor Highlander is so clumsy and sluggish.
