No more notices. If you want, you can give my notices to someone who likes them, make them close two windows.

Would there be only one, ever? Or one per patch cycle? Or multiple depending on what PGI wanted to know? There's a lot of potential overhead here.
I'd say cycle and multiple, depending on the month and timing.

they do listen to us in a very general way if we bi*ch over and over about something, but as far as specifics they are pretty stubborn and are only interested in executing ideas they came up with themselves
That's the thing though, they don't have to hear opinions or anything. They get the data, decide on what we want compared to they want, and then make a decision. Simple efficient, and less painful and time consuming as to scream on twitter, the forums, or on any other website about them.

That's incredibly stupid, why force people to vote on stuff like that if they're not interested?

The mechbay popups are annoying enough already when you log in, wish there was a way to make them permanently hidden, if they did this i would leave the game !

The only big poll we've ever had (the 3PV one) only about 2,000 people total voted. That was nowhere near a majority of the people who actually played the game then. Even the people who think MWO is dying would agree that wouldn't be anywhere near the majority now either.
And leaving the game over some clicks that would help decide the direction of the game, Ace? Really?

I think the "Really" should be directed towards you to force people to vote.
That alone would shift a lot of people away from this game, I mean, what other game has that sort of tactic?

And that's how you get the Jesus box back, people will just click through as fast as possible and the results will mean F all.

This way people are both interested in actually voting in such a system on a game, but they also get to express their opinion on the game. I can say that the opinion of actual MWO players is in some ways, entirely different than the opinions stated here,
Plus, I bet PGI would actually listen to the community if they saw what everyone really thought (This sentence here is a opinion, but the rest a ideal that may be quite useful and good to the game).
Paying for votes or offering incentives to vote in polls is the wrong thing to do. People should only vote for what they have an interest in. No one should expect to get anything for voting in a system that will never get 100% participation.
Someone would want a poll started on an idea that only they and others would have an interest in. They would get every one they know to vote on a particular subject, spam the polls and get paid too.
Dumb idea, you got to come up with some thing better than this.

And how do you know that we won't get 100% participation huh?
Also, PGI is the only one who'll be making polls, which will be unbiased polls that will have people split up on deciding what they believe, and such, no unit or group is going to dictate on which poll PGI will create (Where in the world did you get the notion that groups and units could create polls?)
Plus how are they going to "Spam" the polls with their friends? A unit, let's say they have 512 members, the maximum amount, to vote on a choice they want. Well guess what. MWO's population is much, much bigger than them, and could outweigh their vote even then. There'd be limits too you know, like per say, an account has to have played at least 100-200 times before it can vote, to prevent this so called "Spam" you're talking about.
And to top if off, how is this a "Dumb idea, you got to come up with some thing better than this."? How about YOU come up with something instead of berating one's ideals and think about what to say before making a post such as this?

And they're still great ideas!
In-game surveys that reward people for giving feedback would be the best implementation.
It doesn't need to be MC, it could be C-Bills: 100,000 - 250,000 CB would probably be fine for most.
It might actually be better to stay away from giving out anything of real dollar values. Maybe use MC for critical feedback surveys.
