MWO is a really small niche game. It doesn't have the numbers nor will it ever be anything where we've got 10k people, let alone WoW's population, playing at any one point in time. With the game having been out for 4 years, give or take, there have been countless ***** posts, both for good and bad reasons. For those of us that were here from the beginning, we've seen a lot of changes and quite a bit that have made us scratch our heads in collective "HUH?" But, I can say with utmost certainty and honesty that it still puts a smile on my face, not only playing this game, but dropping into a game to see a fellow forum warrior on either side. It is the small things like that which keep me going and bring enjoyment. So, /salute fellow Warriors and keep on dropping - I hope to see you soon.

Go back to LAUNCH
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wish we all could go back to launch and retain that 100,000 + active playing players PGI has lost in 3+ years.

You loyal.

Put this MC in your account. Buy your unit leader a Mechbay. Buy your whole unit some mechbays.

This next part of the post is for when you trying to up your Tier or you grinding XP.

Another one.

Another one.

And another one.

If I could enjoy a modern MW game in single player I would, but there isn't one. So I have to put up with everyone here.

I suppose so. Luck can only treat you so poorly before you stop caring and start treating others with the same hand you've been dealt with.

Funny, I found it no different than the LoL and worse than the WoW community.

There is nothing more toxic than the *&#$* lords of the WoW community.

Uh, as of a few months ago, we have at least 20k, and that's pre-Steam.

I know this, because I dropped in a smurf during some leaderboard event, did like 20 damage then died, and it ranked me down somewhere around, I forget, 22k or 24k I think. It was well over 20k.

Started playing War Thunder and it just makes me appreciate this community even more

Other games just feel so... dead? when it comes to community. People launch a game, play, then leave. Here we have witty banter, funny jokes and friendly jives. VOIP has improved this even more with some interesting personalities like "The Space Captain" (PanzerMagier) adding a lot of flavour to the game. Sure there's a few bad eggs but they're in the minority. It's like a small town where everyone knows everyone else.

The general conduct of the players and our reasoned debates on the forums are one of the key reasons I keep coming back to MWO.

trust me, anyone that's played this game has hit their frustration point at some time or another, whether that be with the game, PGI, other players, the community in general, etc.

Just try to remember that the vast majority of other players out there are just like you, jusy trying to have some fun playing a video game they like. We're all nerds and we all know that any kind of "fight" would wind up looking like this

you've obviously never seen the LoL community :P

SC2 and WoW can be pretty bad though. I mean I have quite literally had people try to get me kicked out of a guild and run off of a server because I said "It's a bit silly to claim the game is dead, you were lied to, and you're quitting because you can't fly on your mount in this zone"

If someone tried to do stuff like that here, they'd get shamed and laughed out of being taken seriously.
