You are in luck! This patch also includes a new map, new game mode, and some changes to the way conquest plays.

I just love how both sides of my government and their squabbling is sending us further into the dark ages.

I could deal with low bandwidth, but a 60gb monthly cap? I'd die.
I told Comcast to F off over a 300gb cap. Was ok for juat me, but when I got married and moved the stepson kept kicking it over. One month I paid $50 extra. :/

And yes patching speed is fast.
You understand that the installs are identical, right? At best, your getting a daily integrity check and if that is all that makes your client stable, you might want to look into a new hdd,

MWO is known to break its own files so yes that integrity check might be the thing.
I also claim that my SSD works perfectly again this is is not just me it's multiple people saying same.

Sorry some of you are on slow connections but the reality is 6 gigs these days really is not that excessive. Even slower speeds should be able to download that overnight. Go watch a movie or something for one night.
Also as far as a download cap.......well I guess that sucks but I 6 gigs will not put a dent in the majority of peoples caps so unless your downloading movies all the time you should be fine even with a low cap.

strength and age of system is unrelated to crashes. You don't end up with more crashes because you've got dated hardware, just lower fps. Unless you're not meeting minimum requirements anyways.
with an i7 x99 board and chip to drive it, 16 gb memory and a 980 GTX Ti Nvidia card I seriously doubt it's hardware related.
MWO is the only game that crashes on the regular. And yes I've done the complete clear and reinstall through steam and verify integrity and on and on.

Last time MWO crashed regularly on me I had a bad memory stick. None of my other games had any issues, but I was lucky to get through two matches in MWO without a crash. Hadn't had the memory for more than a year either.

LOL I wish, rural Midwest America download speeds are less than 1MB per second unless you live in a good sized city.
6GB is a a multi-hour affair for this guy!
Local ISP is digging fiberoptic in my town of 4,000 people this summer, it'll be like giving a stone age tool user a chain saw around these here parts.

Well, let's not forget that you also have to validate the patch as well is after downloading you have to apply it...

So for me, that's around half an hour to an hour and a half of patching. So I'll probably start it after I go for groceries that afternoon, you know how people get at the stores during the first few days of the week

It's unlikely hardware though - if it was, you'd most likely have stability issues elsewhere (ram can be notoriously fiddly though!)

yes it truely is hell. and thats the better isp. the other isp has a dns server that crashes every 2 weeks. they claim 4mbps but its more like 1mbps we had it for a year before we decided to change over. my current connection is 12mpbs with a 60 gig cap, and thats $80 bucks. no netflix, no steam, its pretty much 2007 around here.
im hoping this size is measured in disk cost and they at least throw on some compression on the transfer. textures compress well, even compressed textures, so they could easily get it down to 3-4 gig if they zip the stream. id hate to have to give up pr0n for an entire month.
